I would recommend you restart in the same server so you have a head start with the money you have. The new char shares the storage with your old char, you know.
the color.
It's something like
5 level higher than you = red
1-4 higher than you = orange
0 - less than 4 than you = gray
5 level below you = green
much lower = blue.
I could be wrong, close but nontheless wrong, about the number though, so if someone kindly correct them.
Also there're rumors that items drop less and less as you go from blue to red.
the male/female question:
a. either we pay attention more to the stuff we don't want so they seem to occur more often
b. it's true that joymax implements this way to encourage trading among players.
Either case, i guarantee you'll feel the same way with a female char. My recommendation is to play a char that you like because you'll be stuck with it, unless you use skin changing scroll from the item mall.
