The Lead Game Designer and developers for Lineage II which uses a subscription system are the same who are making Tera Online. I suspect they will make it subscription based also.
I also tried Chronicles of Spellborn, was pretty good, but like said, not many people were playing. Also the character models were a little too weird for me.

wrong, lineage 2 creators are making b&s who also created Aion (NCsoft), Tera is from a diffrent company/makers.

I be waiting for GW2 to buy and test the game, then quit it. I don't feel like playing any MMOs anymore, but there are a few which I'd like to scratch.

on another note Tera online = Linage 3, they just changed the name.

Blizzard is currently working on a brand new MMO which is of new IP, so we know nothing about it. We MAY get a taste of it at Blizzcon this year, but I doubt it.
