He gave over $500 million to various charities (holds a world record) and took part in many other humanitarian activities over his lifetime. Think what you want about the guy, but to say he was just a singer is a serious understatement.

Beyond having the most record sales, being known and loved by everyone. Touching everyone's life.

He's done more for charity then anyone else in the entire world. He's been to hospitals, orpheaneges, conferences. He's been promoting charity causes for Aids, cancer, tons of other disseases.

He's saved thousands of animals by donating large sums of money to organisations, even baught large pieces of land to help stop certain species from extinction.

He's never put himelf before anyone. Everyone was good enough. He's been closer to the people then any singer has.

I won't even begin about the rest. There's just so many.

Micheal Jackson isn't just a singer. Keep telling yourself that, you'll probably never believe it. Nor wil I. And millions beside me.
