We celebrate our independence from Britain on July 4th. Not sure exactly how July 4th became the official day since the drafting of the Deceleration of Independence nor the surrender of Cornwallis was on that day..

But any who, that's what it is, our celebration of freedom and the establishment of the United States after declaring independence from Britain.

Happy 4th of July! I went to the lake all day then watched some fireworks.. I got super sunburned even after putting on sunscreen twice >.>

Oh man, may be my worst July 4th ever. I went to Atlantic City. Corndog tasted horrible, lost $60 on slots, worst traffic jam ever turned a 50 minute drive from AC to my house into 6 hours, tired, didn't get drunk, no fireworks near the boardwalk/beach. I just wanna go to sleep and forget this ever happened.

Went to the beach from 12 hours. Surf wasn't that great(woohoo, Florida >_>). Watched fireworks at Hollywood beach and had a light stroll around South Beach.
