Something Odd...

Today I noticed my friend logging in twice. He quit the game 3 years ago. I asked him about it on facebook and he said neither he nor his bro logged in. Soo I got to thinking. The accounts were lvl 32 and under. They never botted as thus they quit pretty early from boredom of grinding.

Is this an example of someone bruteforcing random accounts? How could someone possible get his info? They haven't played this game since 2006, and when they did, they didn't bot or use any 3rd pt program. Seems odd to me. o_O

i found that a lot of people are idiots when making account info. there char name would be there account username and mabie even their pw or the pw would be something like 123456.

lol not him. His passwords are usually pretty dam crazy. >_>. I know he uses similar passwords for games, but when he types them in, it's usually 10+ characters with a mix of letters and numbers. So it's not that his password was stupidly easy.

i remember there were some hackers back then who got your account info if you killed them in pvp. that's how i was hacked. if it was them they probably waited till he would be a high lvl to max there profits but just saw he was still a low lvl. i dont really know. just one of the mysteries of sro

no seriously i had an account hacked when my password was 123456 when i couldnt regester and the secret code to change the pass was something like buhsuiefauifhauiu

yea, my friends account almost got hacked that way. the guy tool all his stuff and put it in storage. he thought he lost everything, 73 nuker. the guy left a not telling him to change his pw

O yeah... that is weird. He hasn't logged on since when we all started this game. He quiet like a few months into it and hasn't played since. Wonder why JM never deleted his and his bro's account than....
