I mean that literally--the pro starcraft players from Korean who are on T.V. raping face practice on iccup. The pro WCIII players play there too. I've played against some of them and even the non-famous ones, you know, the ones the fans laugh at when they epic fail against famous pros, kick major ass and I need a lot of luck not to get slaughtered by them (which is what usually happens). Best way to improve your RTS skills = iccup, if you want to play WCIII go iccup.
I'll give it a shot, been playing LAN DotA since '04 though barely nowadays.

fckerr wrote:Over picked /there arent over powered heroes in dota/ Where do u play in GG? Europe rooms?
Yes there are. Why do you think the same heroes are consistently picked/banned in competitive play?
Well it depends on how use them. Like Goblin Techies. hes weak agains 1 vs 1, but hes awesome if you gather all his ultimate in one spot and BOOM
Actually, Techies are weak, period. There's a reason why the only place you see Techies played is in pubs where half the players leave after they die and the other half are idiots.
Techies are completely countered by 100 gold, and later in the game, a stable 750 gold. They pose no threat at all against a team that knows what they're doing.
Dannyz0r wrote:Amazing game , i'm playing it Favorite heroes : Batrider , Mirana , Pudge
If you're new, I wouldn't recommend starting with Mirana and Pudge. Neither of them are the easiest heroes to use due to the skill (or practice) needed to aim their arrow and hook, respectively. Give Lion, Lina, and Zeus a shot. All very noob-friendly heroes that'll get you on a roll.

Oh, and don't get hit.
Wrong. Drow is actually hard to play well. Considering the fact that a) you don't autocast her orb, and b) you think that Drow is an easy hero to perform well with in higher-tier play, it looks like you might need a read.

True, she's hard at the start. But then, once u get the control of everything... it's really easy, but not really.

Yeah, so hard to orb walk with a shit load of range, and since no one here's gonna play higher tier play and probably are gonna have to suffer through the hell that is pub play, during late game just turn on auto cast and watch enemies melt. And I guess you can cast a silence if you don't have disables, but you don't have to and you'll still win.
Actually, I wasn't aware Drow was used in progames, I've never seen on in replay now that I think about it. Certainly not on 6.6.

Maybe back in 5.84, I think DR got nerfed somewhere along the way in earlier 6.0X versions.

Didn't her ult get a buff? Her old ult was better imo, think it was 30% chance to one hit a creep. Amazing farming furbolgs early game.
Yeah, i said so. But this one isn't that bad. A lot of Agi means More Attack Speed, More attack power, more speed... This is better for hunting heroes.
Her attack speed is very slow in the early game stage. Yes, she's simple hero, but orbwalking would improve your early game in terms of ganking and somewhat lasthitting and denying. It cancels animation thus cutting the time between auto-attacks and can make a difference when chasing down enemies considering the mechanics of frost arrow (slows and the time before the duration ends, etc.).
By Late game it's pretty much smooth sailing and orbwalking becomes unecessary. But then again, I havent played DoTA for a while so I havent seen the changes with her yet.
Over picked /there arent over powered heroes in dota/ Where do u play in GG? Europe rooms?
Yes there are. Why do you think the same heroes are consistently picked/banned in competitive play?
Damn I didnt know kotl and cm are so overpowered.... And I think some heroes are consistently banned/picked because they can make nice comboes with other heroes...Noone wants kotl/pl or cm/es(sk) lanes for example... Or team with mass disables, try to do smth against lich, magnus,cm,sk and enigma/rhasta for example.
For drow discussion, buy lothars asap and u wont have problems farming/surviving/owning later if u are pro... My skill build is frost/silence/stats/stats/stats/ult/stats/frost/frost/frost/ult/aura 4x/ult/stats to the end
I noticed something weird, i think If you Fuse the Helm of iron will with Mask Of Death it will turn into a Helm of Dominator you get all the same stats (with 10% extra life to steal) but without hp/s regeneration.
