Menu / Interface Questions

Post by Rudy246 »

Hello all. I've been playing SRO for a while now (though I'm only level 23), but I have some questions that I can't seem to find the answers to anywhere else.

First Question:
The chat window used to be one piece for me, but back when I first started playing, I clicked something, I don't know what, and suddenly the chat window split into two pieces, one on the left side and one on the right side. The one on the left is just for chatting and talking, the one on the right is for stats and actions (i.e: "You have gained 25 exp").

I'm wondering how I am supposed to get my chat window back to normal. Here is a picture of what I am talking about:

Second Question
Is there a way to hide the interface? Say, if you're wanting to make a video, but all the interface, buttons and whatnot are all in the way. Is there a key or something I can hit to hide the interface?

Thank you for your time. Any help is much appreciated.

Answer to question one;
You can't change it, it was part of the new updated that came through.
It was designed like that so it the experience/loot messages wouldn't make you skip your chat messages.

Answer to question two;
Press F12 to remove it, then F12 again to get it back.

Hope this helps.

Ah, thanks to both of you.

I was not thinking that the change was an update because a friend sent me a screenshot, and all of his messages were contained in one box. It must've been an old screenshot, and he must've neglected to tell me that.

Thank you both. =)
