This is what I do. I am an archer so, I farmed at the banit archers at 16 with a 9 lvl gap. Then, I farmed again on the flowers at 32 with a 9 lvl gap. No gap for lvl 40-50. Farm, the ishades at 48 to maybe 53, 54, or 55.

SP farm - slowing down your character leveling exp, so you can get more skill exp

you should farm at 16-24-32 since those are the levels that give new Seal of Star, Moon, Sun. For best results, you should go 9 gap for the max experience. Anything past gap past 9 is still treated as a 9 gap.
When you go 0 gap, or 3 gap, you're sort of farming, but not really, since in farming, you stick to a level (16-24-32) etc, and stay there.
That would mean deleveling over and over.
Leveling with a gap, what you're doing, is progressing, but at a little bit of a slower pace.

I don't know if I made that clear, but I'll come back later to clarify, I'm in a bit of a hurry.

What I did is:
Get imbue at 5, farm to lvl 17, raise gap to 3, then stopped raising masteries and slowly rose to lvl 21, now at 21 I have nearly 4K sp and uhh...uhh...well...umm...crap...brain...umm..one sec....oh yeah, well I'm slowly dragging to lvl 24 towards a 9 gap so I can farm a bit more. I have a lvl 16 sos spear +3 and I plan to make it +5 before I get to 23, then I plan to keep it till 24, sell it, and get myself a lvl 24 SOS weapon. So what these guys are saying is correct, just keep a bigger gap and farm at the major levels. Farming can be fun too if you don't over do it.

Imbue's are all at level 5.
Besides, leveling from 1-5 is easy; Mangyangs, Earth Ghosts, Weasels, etc.
