Alrighty. STR it is. That way at this level, I can still have the same gears for both ret and prot if I ever decide to get dual spec.

Ya'll are doing it wrong apparently if you are having mana problems. It just gets easier once you have SoV/HS and BoS.

Not really.
Not taking much damage = no heals = very little mana return.

Majority of a prot pally's mana regen is from SA. This is why in places I outgear, I now run SoW until hard hitting bosses, then switch to SoV. No mana or threat problems.

lol yea. It's the same in every game. But there's SO much more in wow ppl abbreviate and I still have to find a translator half the time. That would be a great thread though...wow abbreviations for the noob wower

I'll explain what I meant then to save confusion for you mate and try to be more concious of it in future. =]

SA = Spiritual Attunement
SoW = Seal of Wisdom
SoV = Seal of Vengeance (Seal of Corruption for your paladins, seeing as they'd be Horde)

so i was tanking sarth 3d, i being the MT, when i got DI by a ret cuz he was used to being holy and forgot that his DI was where his JoW was at.

So I was talking Sarthion (with 3 drakes up) while being the main tank. Then I got buffed by a retribution paladin with divine intervention, because he normally plays with a holy spec. He thought he was casting Judgement of Wxxxx.

I'm not sure about the true name of sarth though.

Sartharion with 3 drakes is the hardest encounter pre Ulduar. Judgement of the Wise I suppose.
