What's so good about european characters?

So my dad has got me interested in this game, he's an 85 Rogue (European, obviously)

European characters have 10-20 sec potion lag (I didn't really count)

So does that mean two characters, one Chinese, one European, both about the same power level, fight, wouldn't the Chinese character crush the European one? With the time it takes between pots on European characters, one Chinese character could pot 10 times (Not like that would happen, just an example)

I do know there is a whole lot more classes to choose from on Europeans, my dad says that when he's grinding pretty much all he finds is Chinese gear, but I believe that has to do with where he grinds does it not?

Chinese have almost no pot delay..but Euro have more skills that make them don't need the pot delay.For example,a rogue with DD and can take down any nuker easily IF the rogue hit first,and his sub is cleric..i believe he can tank too but not as much as warrior though
also,Chinese are mean to be played solo (grinding or pvp)..while the Euro meant to be played in party (grinding or pvp)

They differ below lvl40 (coz Euro should grind in Const.and Samar...while Chinese should grind in donwhang and JJ, so that Euro find Euro drops and Chinese find Chinese drops)
But after lvl40 the mobs are the same,so your father may be just unlucky a bit

The pot delay is 15 sec.

Euro is only good for party play if you like party's be a euro but let me just say at a high level all the Chinese party togther..well on Venus they do..

I like Chinese more ^.^ 1 Sec potdelay, strong, cool animations and beast.

Euros are very good at 1vs1. And most euro builds are good soloers too.

im pure str pach and almost every euro i've solo'd ive killed. its when they start buffing each other that you get pwned. make what you like. my brothers 96 pach got 50 kills during FW and my friends 99 wiz got 50 kills during FW.

right now, im farming a warrior/cleric.

ill end up using the pach for jobbing and the warrior for FW.

in the end though, its all about what you like and just enjoy the game.

A lot of people like euros because of their damage. Kids see a level 100 wizard doing 150k nukes on ong, and they are like 'wooooow I wanna be like that!!!', so they go ahead and make a wiz ^^ Euros are pretty bad at PvP with the exception of a few builds (warrior/cleric), but they excel in group wars. Chinese are more of a solo build.
