Activity dropped, people have real life issues.

We aren't bots, we can't just play 20 minutes a day and go afk the rest. We have real players, doing real grinding. Most people are just 'fed up with the game and Joymax's shitty service.

People got bored and quit. Those that didn't quit then, they quit once the fort was lost. Those that haven't quit yet will quit sooner or later, once they realize that they're wasting time on a game in which PLAYING is discouraged by the company running it.

What happened was 100 cap and the insane amount of SP required, and even though you might feel let down by Fly and nb they are still the only ones who managed to get all the legits together and create this server which was insanely fun while it lasted.

I'd see like to see you do the very same thing.

Nearly 4000 hours on SRO according to your xfire. That seems a bit more of a waste of time, if you really thought the game "sucks".

You must of enjoyed the game at some point seeing your xfire sig spent on SRO. But that's not the point. The game itself has gotten so legit unfriendly with it's high sp requirements that people just tend to say "of **** it" and quit. It's not due to something Fly or nightbloom did, hell why didnt they quit earlier then?

Personally, I think what they accomplished with the server was great. And I think you did too once.

About the "let's hand over the fort" thingy I had no clue about seeing I quit a few months back and dont really take an interest in what's going on in the private forums.

Anyways, dont hold a grudge on the two people that made a clean server worth playing on.
If there's anyone to blame in what happened then it's Joymax, and Joymax only.

What's amazing is that the bots couldn't take the fort a lot sooner, considering the progressively weaker state of the confed.

And there hasn't really been anything done by Fly or NB over the last few months to cause people to quit. They've both been relatively inactive because of NB recovering from an illness. But making them the bogeyman is more fun.

They didnt get it alot sooner for a simple reason... bots are busy creating 2nd char (euro) cause most of boters have CHINESE as first char when venus opens. another reason is, bots dont really care about the fort until most of them are FF or CAP.

Legits have a very big advantage before. EU PT vs CHIN PT at fortress war, well thats a pretty huge advantage.

well basically venus is not dead for bots. They have HIGH LVL CHAR, they can easily plvl a new one, making FF 100 chars at ong, etc...

Only legits having a hard time catching up with lvl. Specially PLVL is not legit according to confed rules.

Eh, powerlevel was discouraged because for the most part ...no one's doing anything 'cept for the plvler, not the plvlee. So in a sense, they level w/o doing anything except getting into the pt and to the area. Yea, plvl's easy, but where's the sense of learning the char?

Not gonna go much into it, but you get the point....though, I honestly think learning how to PvP with a specific build isn't hard, at all...

If ya wanna lvl without having to do shit.....well, that leaves a certain number of things I'm not gonna get into...but like they say, to each their own; do whatever.

It's because of people like you that parties are more or less non existant. If you would put some effort into the game you play you could easily start a party, gather friends and then lvl to the cap with people the same lvl range such as yourself. It's sure as hell more fun then watching some high lvl powerlvl you all the way. I honestly can't understand why some people can't seem to understand that, it's called ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME, lol.

I have to agree with Snowflake.

I really dislike pleveling people because it makes me feel like that I am being USED as a bot by the people with low level characters. They all go afk and I am supposed to grind on mobs that are no challenge at all PLUS stresss out whether or not the people I am pleveling die to any random mob that sneaks by me while they are afk and off watching tv or having pizza with friends.

However I have had fun with "power parties" which mix high and low levels and the low levels aren't afk and are helping the party work. I do understand the lack of parties at the low levels and am willing to help out. The low levels need to work together to keep each other alive, help with maintaining mp and hp, and TALK. I promise you that people that talk and are funny and fun are more likely to get this sort of party. People like the little warlock that charges party giants yelling "DAS IST SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTA! are fun to be in parties with regardless of their levels.

BTW high levels like to have time to level their own characters too and since we AREN'T bots there is always a limited time for us to do that also.

Funny thing is I had friends that played this game from RL they were in the confed they quit because its not so fun to log on to see that there is never any low level partys..

We would make partys (3 of us) and no one would join and we'd just die and go back to soloing.
