Re: Open Source Art.
ok i'll start off.
a long time ago, i tried to make a thom yorke (radiohead) sig.
i failed miserably, and i'd like others to have a go with the
setup i made for this sig. you can change just about anything,
but i'd like to keep the original idea behind the sig (thom
yorke somewhere in the middle, some pentool stuff moving to
the sides, and 100x better lighting than what i have. the rest
is up to you. if you have a totally different idea with the
stock, then that's fine too.

Yes! I'll never have to finish one of my pieces ever again.

Re: Open Source Art.
Bump and a comment: I tried working on your sig cin. I don't know, I think it's the colors, but I couldn't get anything to look good. Especially the lighting around his face. I think it's the stark black juxtaposed against the stark pink/red on the pentooling, but all the lighting I tried looked awful. Sorry

Re: Open Source Art.
I tried once to make an animated effect on a word as request for sig,
but I failed badly and it's been haunting me .. I tryed today to
make the same effect on a different stock

I wasn't focused on the background or how it looked as a tag just focused on the effect around the sword ,this is the best I could do, I know it doesn't look any good but that's why I'm posting here, I need help or suggestions on how to make it brighter and move more smoothly.

You got the request post? Or at least a quote of it? Would be helpful if we knew more about what you need... (been wanting to try animation again for a while)

The request was not related to this image, but here's a link to the topic I was talking about:

Re: Open Source Art.
I'm not gonna bother uploading the pic since it's far from polished, but here's the .psd from what I did. I used techniques to make it brighter/smoother; learn from it and polish, then it'll look good.

Re: Open Source Art.
Thank you very much SM-Count, that actually helped me a lot.
I'll work with that and I'll post my final product when it's done.
Thanks again.
