lololol Avalon lost

ok this is what happened: We 'lost' the fort in about 35 mins or so. I personally wasn't there seeing how i kept getting farking dced and had to fight back the traffic to get back in (as did some of my party). As soon as the fort went to Legacy, the server crashed. Once it was back up, we all went back to attack, the ones that died teleported to save spot...which was jangan..apparently all the command posts were either bugged or not there..So pretty much ALL the avallon union got locked OUT since there were 300/300 ppl in the fortress already. So we spent like 25 mins just waiting for joymax to fck up again. During this time ppl slowly started to log out as well seeing how we had like 40 mins left for FW. All the bots were globaling that avalon had 'given up' but we were simply locked out..thats it..

Also a LOT of legits have quit or are taking a long break, people are getting tired of joymax's lackluster performance (no surprise). Even i was going to quit...farming is just plain ridiculous >.>

im pretty sure her multiclient bot has a no-dc. it's a standard in every multiclient from what i hear. avalon really cant make up excuses because i have to wait outside fortress for a long time before i can get in cuz of capacity

I used to have a very strong dislike for avalon a long time ago. I wasn’t a botter or bot supporter. I have grown to respect avalon and their community since then. It just required me overlooking their terrible people skills. I was just not fond of how when anyone disagreed with them, no matter the circumstance, they would treat that person as though they botted. People CAN dislike avalon without botting or being a bot supporter and no it isnt bot support for disliking them, dispite the general believe that it is.

Their past DOES matter though. You have to understand that they acted as though they had NEVER EVER botted before. And then they got found out. That makes them hypocrites. I firmly believe that this specific community would have respeceted them more had they come out in the beginning and said, "we made a mistake, and we see what we did was wrong, and why. We are starting fresh on a new server." but they didn’t, they denied having botted and treated everyone else like low life scum , whether they were botters or not. Most people involved in the venus community refuse to see this, while the botting community only sees them being ousted for botting. Theres no genuine middle ground theres nothing but childish name calling and accusations on both ends.

Seriously.. one of the main reasons I dislike most of them is because they think of ALL bots as nothing more than low-life scum. I'm in a guild full of bots, and they're some of my best e-friends. Botting doesn't suddenly turn you into some evil pos who's going to go cheat / commit a crime in real life. (Someone actually said that, not making it up.)
It's just lols.. poor guys could be missing out on some great friendships because of their prejudice. I guess I kind of pity some of them..

There was once a time when I was considering moving to Venus.. my guild was dead, and I was really bored, looking for something new.. so I went to venus, all I knew about it was that it had the largest number of legits of any other server. made a character, grinded to 10, went to roc to check out all the high level ownage legit grind parties.. all I found was one avalon party, one bot party, and a few turks solo botting in the middle of roc. Afterwards I found and read the rules of the confederation, some were just ridiculous to be honest, definitely not a place for me.

Besides that, the point has been made over and over again: The majority of people here said they didn't want bot support, so the mods/admins made the changes only to hear a bunch of people complain when people got banned (including a mod). Yeah, kinda hard for SG to visit a forum after that, wouldn't you think?
