Even though I agree there's no way the community can resolve the botting problem.It's like saying to the world,everyone stop eating meat and lets all be vegetarian,not happening anytime soon.So the blame lies in the hands of the community,if it was P2P however the consumer can much more easily point fingers at "Joymax".

There is always an option to deal with a fail game is to quit. However, the players choose to stay and cheat. If anyone don't like the game can quit, "friends" is not a good excuse to bot. You can still login the game and chat with friends without the need of bot.

I don't follow.I don't lead,I make my own opinions.It's a free to play game,u can't demand anything.ANYTHING.what is wrong or right in the game is irrelevant,joymax makes the rules and enforces them as they see fit.

I know many many who don't use clientless or stall with muclticlient,powerlv as well(the majority started like any legit,no powerlv only farm when they was at the lv cap).

My main character is legit, but my lvl 30-40 nubs i use to mess around on are also legit, cept that whole I go looking for "Free Ong Powerlvl" in party match since I don't want to have to go through the horror of grinding at bandit den again like my first time. I think it's still legit since it's being offered for free to all in party match, there's no real way to prove they're botting, except you can kind of assume it depending on how much the party leader talks. Just my view of this.

Players ruined the game, those that blame Joymax are either in denile, looking to justify a reason for being unlegit or frustrated because they can't do anything to sort out this mess w/o some kind of help.

Players decide to buy gold for their own personal gain & are ignorant to the fact that they are ruining the economy & making the gold bot situation worse. 24/7 afk player bots make the ingame community sucky because there are fewer & fewer people to talk to ingame & pretty much divides the server up even more. Multi-client bot users are such a pain up the backpipe because they needlessly fill up the servers, which funnily enough sparks up the complaint that it's all to do with Joymax's plan to make people buy a premo.

imo Joymax prolly didn't put in any kind of security to prevent bots at the start because they probably felt they didn't need to. Yea after a couple weeks/months when the botting issue became such a pain up the backpipe they did infact attempt to sort it out, but im guessing they were to overwhelmed & the fact that players where constantly sniping them with insults over & over again didn't exactly help so im guessing they thought fk it.

Like someone said before lvling & sp farming is not hard it's just time consuming, so stop using that bloody excuse -.-! There's no rush in reaching the cap ffs, & absolutely nothing is making you grind 5+ hours a day so if you get bored then log off & find something else todo, it's that simple.

Well Jigabachi, the game is called Silkroad is it not, with the current rampant botting, the trading system is farked. The large number of higher lvls makes it so if you try jobbing without a high lvl, you end up getting raped anally soooo yeah. The grinding to cap is part of the game, but so is the other half. Try winning a FW with only lvl 70-80s on your side. Lemme know when you win. The only part of this game where being cap doesn't matter is the grinding. To play the rest of the game, you need to be capped.

Now it is true that it is because of botters in the first place that we have to go to cap to enjoy the finer things, but even without them, it would just be a matter of time until you need to be capped to win. Dunno about you, but after awhile, losing over and over just kinda gets annoying.

Like i said, some ppl think it's fun to grind, other just wanna run around killing others.

It is the player's fault for botting, but JM did kinda give them a thumbs up... I've always wondered why I was legit when it's pretty obvious JM doesn't care. I mean, for a real life example, it would be like when someone gets evicted and their shit gets tossed on the streets. Everyone in their neighborhood knows this is their stuff, but once the workers/cop put on the tape over the door, it's free picking because they know no one will care or stop them.

So because you can't prove it..it didn't happen that way...? Getting powerlevel from a bot has been discussed and so has this topic (hundreds (thousands? millions?) of times) and that is the reason Pan wants a lock. It all ends up the same.

Using cheats second hand (in this case powerlevel, but don't go arguing "OMG BUY FROM BOT STALL", it's a control thing.) is cheating.
Trying to justify cheating is!....lame.

So in other words botting is just a catalyst to the inevitable were somewhere down the line it'll be the first time starters having this problem. Hmmm i'm going to have to agree with you there. I guess that just leaves the multi-clients & gold buyers & sellers.

Your right about constantly loosing sucks, iunno about anyone else though but that just made me more determined to get better. & FW i never really had any interest in it tbh so im not going to make a comment. In anycase though there is always GWs or CTF that dosn't require you to be capped.
