I don't remember Digimon ever being like that. The first 10% of season 1 was like that, but once the ball started rolling digimon was ace.

My mom had gotten me the action figure one Christmas....I wonder if it's laying around somewhere in basement with the rest of my transformer/actions figure and GIANT STUFFED MONKEY!

But just like pokemon the original digimon are the best.

this is partially due to the fact that those are the only ones I can remember although skipping through the disney channel one saturday morning I was glad to see they still kept agumon around in the new series.

anything first season and any first movie in a series is the best (save rush hour 2). Just look at yu-gi-oh or power rangers. The new ones are complete shit

Actually Season 3&4 (subbed) of GX is good, and the second half of season 1 (subbed) of 5ds is really interesting. The 5th Season of the original Ygo was tight too. Fck Pokemon.

Is the Omnimon one where they had to defeat the virus digimon? If it is that movie is right up there with "Kiki's Delivery Service" as my most memorable/favorite childhood movies.

Yeah the first movie was with Omnimon, and yes it was the one where they had to defeat the virus. As somebody mentioned before, the movie was a nice tie as a conclusion of the first season and an introduction to the season 2 team.

Btw aznronin, I remeber that. It was the most fucking epic episode ever
