Using Wizard Skills effectively .. GIve us yoiur view

Im working on the most effective combination of attack skills for wizards.. Eg I use blizzard, earth quake, meteor and chain light..
They work well cause of the kool down.. But.. it this the best or shall i use fire bolt, blizzard, earth quake, fire bolt..

Well if you hav a cleric sub, I would start as a cleric, put body and soul blessing on, and just heal ur self and throw in some absolutes once in a while. Then, when the time is right either

A. Use heavenly flash, run away a little, then use meteor, earthquake, and blizzard. (if he is still not dead bind will most likely be over, so use charged squall to kb him and rinse wash and repeat)

B. Use fear, life turnover, meteor, earthquake, blizzard. (same as above, if he is not dead kb and rinse wash and repeat)
*You should always try to have either healing cycle or healing orbit on because wizzes are very squishy especially in life turnover. Also, if you are fighting a snow shield uses mana drought on him to take snow down, and if you are ever in trouble use earth barrier to reduce some of the damage.*

thanks but i was refering to attacks made to uniques.. cool down v's damage,,

vs uniques.. if you want to kill it and don't care about killing the spawns at all, just use fire bolt and frozen spear.
best damage, can use one after the other, and they aggro a lot less so less chance of you getting killed.
earth quake and blizzard are only for killing multiple mobs.. don't bother using them on one target. Well, maybe earth quake to inflict dull if you want, but blizzards damage vs one target is weak.

If you want to do max damage, do meteor, earth shock, blizzard, and ground rave, as well as fire blow whenever you can, but you'll probably run out of mp unless you vigor.

If you don't want to risk aggroing other mobs, just alternate fire bolt and frozen spear. Lightning nuke is so weak it's not worth getting.

eh.. can guarantee you that alternating fire bolt and frozen spear will do more damage in the same time period as the first thing you said, the damage from the actual skills are a little less but the cast time is also faster.

Maybe.. when I used to play I was solo so my bread and butter spells were fire bolt and frozen spear. Fire blow is really good though, when the mob won't die in 1 hit.

meteor frozen spear earth quake frozen spear meteor frozen spear earth quake and salamander blow when possible.
That is the best dmg.

for leveling myself (i`m 80lvl wiz/bard) i use life turnover+fire bolt+ice bolt. Advantages:
1.with life turnover each one of those two skills is 1 kill skill
2.those skills are the fastest casted skills of the wizard skill tree so nobody can actually ks you which is very important
3.those skills consume a very little amount of MP so it is not a big gold waste....fire bolt+frozen spear is good for that reason too but the frozen spear is casted more slowly than the ice bolt and between the ice bolts of the frozen spear the enemy can hit you if they are nearby or they use range attacks Anyway if u cant one hit kill them u can use the frozen spear skill aswell

and btw for massive fights u`ve chosen the best combination I think... Ground Rave is good sometimes too

Not every situation is the same, so it will depends. In grinding I usually have a rotation like Bliz+meteor+ground rave + earth + ground etc...

But ground rave doesnt work well when you aint nuking in the middle of the mobs for exemple. And you always should meteor when mobs are close to eachother cause the range is so small.
