Ofc, no one like to ban on assumption, but it's not hard to identify a bot, and there are many ways.
I can identify bots by just looking at their way of grinding, basing on their speed of picking up items, trajectory to find mob around, etc...
Those are good ways to tell, a couple of those and all you have to check is whether or not they bought silk. What I was getting at is that once you find a bot, you have take video or somthing as "evidence" and then look up whether or not they bought silk, it would a time consuming process. It would not be that easy to clean up the game because the gold bots can have 2 more up in the time it takes you to ban one.
