dropped my laptop recently, now it turns on but wont start up windows.
i can hear ticking noises as well, what might be wrong with it?
its a toshiba, will the warranty cover drops?

hard drive problems if you do have another laptop hard drive test that or take it to a computer repair shop

1. dumbass.
2. the ticking sounds like the hard drive.. if the laptop was on the chances are greater that it is the hard drive that's making the problem..
3. warranty cover drops? no but if there is no damage then you can call them tell them the hard drive died and you need a new one they will ask you to send the whole thing or just the hard drive.. if there is damage you can tell them the hard drive just died and hope they ask for just the drive back and not the whole laptop..
just dont tell them about the drop.. or the whole thing becomes void.
