I bought a wolf because I thought it will pick up items, as rabbits.
I have always believed that the trades bring silks, because the game's name is silkroad.
I was disappointed to see empty silks in my item mall

I thought that all stallers are npc, and I never stall items until lvl 30.
At lvl 17 , I wanted to know my future weapon,I don't know that we can use portal, so I walk from constantinople to samarkand with my friend.We have been scared by kokorus.

In the beggining i thought that the people spamming "WTB glavie SOS" were saying "WTB glavie S.O.S."(like sos because it's really urgent)...

I was aking my BF what to sell from my drop and he told me everyting that is not blue or if it's shiny (because i din't get what he means by sos).....3 mins after that i asked "Baby is this shiny enoug"? I got a sos head prot 2d My first sos

A friend of mine that uses a bot is heart broken...his bot sold his pig and it was full of stuff i think you can count that as a noob story

I always died on Mangyangs bcuz someone told me to give him my stuff and he could make it better...i ended up naked lvl 1 with no weapon trying to kill a mangyang and wishing i could be like those really high lvl (15-20) killing mangyans in one hit

Me and my friends use to increase our leveling speed by trade-farming. That is we all do a fake 1 star trade (only 1 item in the camels) so when we farm we can kill npc theifs on top of mobs. So many noob stories from this

1) I forgot about the npc theif 's freezing effect. I died a few times where I got frozen by a thief when the mobs were hitting me.
2) Many high level thief found us and followed us for a long time, wondering why he cannot attack such a large trade run. At least ONE of them have to be more than a 1 star trade right???
3) We tried to do this after level 40. We were happily farming at the Maongs for a while, then suddenly one of us got attack by a level 50ish glavier theif. I was like "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!" We were in so much shock that we didn't really fight back, and he killed us pretty fast. It wasn't fun for that thief neither b/c there was only one item drop for each of us. One of us was only lvl 39 so the thief cannot kill him. But he got so scared he ran for the ferry and moved to the othr side. The theif followed him to the other side. He keep running until he eventually got overwhelmed by npc theifs and Red Eye Ghosts and he died too (he was a full int warlock so he couldn't tank). It took us a while to figure out that after lvl 40 1 star trades are not safe anymore.




Another story is that, once outside DW there was this high level guy picking on noobs by punching them. Every noob keep hitting him for less than 100 damage and he just punch them to death. When he tried that on me I used Overhealing on him, which hitted him for 1k+ damage. After this was repeated a few more times he gave up and moved to someone else. I guess I ruined his punching fun.

I was pretty dumb when I started..never played a game like SRO until urm SRO :p

Luckily I had my brother sitting next to me, playing..but he failed to mention some stuff..

I had no clue about guilds until some guy pmed me asking to join his..and I was so confused..I was at like lvl 16ish i believe.

I picked cold b.c ice looked cool and because I had no clue what anything meant in the skill descriptions.

I had no clue how SP worked. Or what Farming was..when people would talk about farming, I thought they were just doing something other then grinding and stalling...like a job other then tradin thieving or hunter...

When I found out about SP and how it worked I was so annoyed..I could not understand why the game just did not give me all the sp I needed for each level..(still annoys me lol)

I really had no clue about stats or anything..I knew the higher the percent the better but thats all..lol..I didnt know that INT used spear or sword and str used glavie or blade...I thought everyone did hybrid...b.c it made sense to me (ONLY b.c i knew nothing about the game, now I know better lol)

I do not think I knew exactly what elixirs or elements or anything alchemey did..I just knew that I should make elements..

My brother was a great teacher...lol..He would tell me the start of something and then leave me hanging..oh well. Oh yea, I had no clue what anyone meant when they said bot lol...or gold bot until like level 20 ish.

Nothing too funny with my stories..but IDK, I am at work bored during lunch..

I always believed having grass walk buffed while riding a horse, increases horse moving speed, too.
SO i always buffed grass walk before summoning the horse, cuz buffing while riding isnt possible.

Believed it till around lvl 30, when some guy rode next to me with the same horse, but without having grass walk buffed. And guess what, he had the same speed :O
All i thougt at that moment was "oh man, me so nooby"

mmmh I had FORGOTTEN about the existence of stat points and went up 8-10 lvls before i decided to press the C key once again.

I thought npc thief levels were random, so I was extremely stressed when doing my first traderun, always keeping guard of a lvl 60 thief appearing out of nowhere and ready to run like a goldfish >.<

before sro I had never played games (except strategies) that required the mouse to be used ingame, so I spent over an hour trying to find out how the hell to attack the goddamn mangyangs untill I finaly gave up and looked in the manual D:

First time i started playing silkroad back in 2005 i think max lvl was 60
and there was a few servers.

-I played the game without moving camera angle till lvl 14, so i was very careful not to go past my training spot xD(if i did passed it, i used a return scroll)

-There was this lvl 60 nuker, and i remember in jangan south gate like
50 players crowding her

-i had every single skill tree all at lvl 1 (fire,ice,light,force,bicheon,glavie,pacheon)

-didn't even know what that yellow thing was on top of my exp gauge
so i thought i could get every single skill,i just thought i could get to the lvl and get it.

-i was so mad at thiefs for killing me at lower lvl's when i reached 20
i became hunter and started hunting thiefs. Only to be raped.

there is so much more but i g2g xD

lolz, ive been playing since the 60 cap and my highest character ever is only level 90 =P
