Quest helper rocks, up until you go to find something, and it is completely off. I use a combination of quest helper and thottbot.com, which seems to get me through my quests rather quickly.

I have to agree here. I used QuestHelper from 1-35 and it is great don't get me wrong. But I picked up Carbonite and the map alone sold it. You can do so much with the map in relation to quests. The zooming in and out, entire zone viewing in and out, close or further out, terrain mapping, pre-mapped routing with arrows pointing you to quests and the quickest routes to get there, as well as areas highlighted in color of where you will find quest mobs or goals (even if there are 4 different areas where the mobs spawn, each will be highlight in color on your map and you just mouse over and it tells you what you find there), it shows every npc in town on the map and if you mouse over, it will tell you what quests they may have for you, much much more to Carbonite but that just hits some of the highlights.

Just downloaded and installed Carbonite. Only thing I don't like is the map. It's so ugly looking I have no idea what I'm looking at.

There is a setting in carbonite to tell it not to use the carbonite map. Right click the C button around the mini map and select option. Under maps there should be a check box saying use carbonite map...

Yep there is. But I mean why? I know personal preference but imo one of the greatest things about carbonite is the map (of course you have to get used to it) but right after 3.1 before Carbonite had updated, I went back to QH - loved the quest tracking then brought up the map and I was like acckkkk where is everything?
Where are all my little npc icons in each town?
Why can't I right click on the map and drag my view from EPL down to STV?
Why can't I zoom right down to just Crossroads and see the buildings and npcs?'
Where are all my color-coded quest zones? :x I know there were 3 areas where I could find buzzards in Hellfire!

LOL all kidding aside, yes you can turn the map off but give it a chance. I am going to put a nice split screen SS comparing the two for everyone even if you don't care :P

I agree, carbonite is the shit. I've been using it to lv as a noob from 1-55 pretty quickly. If I disable it i feel completely lost.

Don't get me wrong, the features own. I love the color coded quest zones. Some things I don't really need though. Like the NPCs in town. I can ask guards. No problem there. The look of it is what bugs me. I found a solution though.

I just use regular map during BGs and the Carbonite map while questing and shiz.

Nope, WoW's built around faction vs faction for PvP.

And it's still faction vs faction, hence why I said it the way I said it. :P

Yup, with objectives.
Warsong Gulch = CTF
Arathi Basin = Seize and control
Alterac Valley = kill the leader
Eye of the Storm = Mix AB with WSG
Strand of the Ancients = Attack and defend with vehicles.

<3 good resto druids. Main healer for raids I do is a resto drood. Works out well. Feral druids are actually two things, which one you are depends on what you spec into within the Feral tree; bear tanks and kitty DPS.

Bear tanks are good, if not a bit eh right now after the last patch. I'm not sure on how good kitty DPS is either, as most DPS druids I know are boomkins.
