Okay.
I used way too much on the cards. Yeah the cards where in English but we could see the numbers etc. you know how much they hit etc.
The only problem was that we didn't really play with the cards. They got more like a collecting object. It was meant to be a game but became a collection object.....

Seems like we got a real fan here. Do you even still have all this crap ?
I still got all of mine. I can't throw it out... i used so much money on it lol. But its just hidden on the roof lol
I first found out about through a friends gameboy, and got Red version later, then eventually saw the cards in a store and got one pack, which had 1st edition Venusaur lol. Dunno how much money was ever spent on em but me an some friends stole a ton from like walmart lol >.>, then I got a lil tired of it and sold most to kids in school, was pretty nice lol.
Also had the VHS ans N54 game, some of those gold cards lol, werent those from Burger King or somethin?
im gonna go ahead and assume im the only person who still plays the TCG
surprisingly most of the people who play arent fat sweaty basement dwelling nerds (i didnt play with the original 151 but my friends got me to start up recently in a tournament)

i used to steal some kids good yu-gi-oh then battle him for the rest of his good cards...eventually i had all his good cards rofl...no one believed him over me cause he was one of those ultra nerdy spazz kids who freaked out and had a huge ego about everything...
pokemon was easier to make money off of and had better games...but yugioh was an actual card game...i kinda liked it

I have a box of like 3,000+ pokemon/yugioh and sports cards somewhere. Had all the pokemon games and a gameshark. Everyone was always asking me for the rare pokemons that they couldnt get that I would spawn with the gameshark. By 5th grade everyone moved on except during high school these 2 lonely dudes would play the new DS game and still play the cards during lunch. It was quite sad.

Agreed. I love Yu-Gi-Oh. It was all Yu-Gi-Oh in my old school. Now, there all playing Bakugan.
You are too young to understand the true meaning of pokemania.
But yeah... I used a lot of money on those cards. I still have most rare ones of my collection somewhere. I also had all gameboy games and pokemon stadium 1. I also had some figures and toy pokeballs etc. ^^
Sorry guys I had Chinpokomon.. I had shoe. Really though.. those cards = worthless. They're just a printed image now unlike before where you could actually sell something for $100. Same thing with Yugioh.
Did I buy the cards? Not really.. but I did have yellow, silver, gold, platnium, and something else for advance.. Can't remember. Even if the game was the same in each on all of them. I still loved it o_O
If being a loser means not playing Silkroad all day.. lulwut?
