hybrid build suggestions

Post by crawtona »

I'm currently farming and going to be for awhile, which is good cause I haven't fully decided on my build. I know for sure I'm gonna be hybrid, so far I've been 1:2 int heavy up to 16, but I'm planning on going for somewhere around 1:4 or 1:5. I was planning on going spear, but am questioning that decision as I would not only be needing to purchase a spear, but also a shield and possibly a sword. Any suggestions on that situation would be great.

Also, I'm thinking of going 100 heuk/100 fire/65 light/35 cold. This way I get some extra defense with cold, with light I get 15% mag damage increase plus some parry, and the first two light nukes. As well as a 63% grass walk and full phantom. Any suggestions on pros/cons would be great. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Also, I'm wearing anything I can find/put INT onto right now, but I'm thinking of going with Protector for the long run as it gives the 10% speed/mp bonus, but still has some physical damage protection.

Hey it's one of my Fable guild members <3

Granted I'm not even in the guild atm due to inactivity...still

Ontopic: Mmk so your wanting to go with a 1:4 or 1:5 hybrid int spear build? With the 1:5 you'll have 85% int mag balance naked. I really like this build since I had it on ecsro *little bit different then isro but whatever*. The nice thing about this build is that at mugiji's I could 2-3 hit 2-3 mobs. Using aoe nukes + ghost spear. It was awesome :)

But with your build I'd say go 100 heuk/100 fire/ 60 light and 40 ice. For the ice passive at level 40. You won't even notice that small amount of speed + phantom that's missing.

And buying a s/s is purely optional. It's just for extra def while pvping. But I wouldn't use it because:

1. It's expensive

2. You don't have any bicheon skills *like kd*

But it would also help a ton in group wars, not so much for 1 vs 1 pvp. You could always not buy s/s until your 6x+. That way you'll have some cash for buying it.

Currently I'm wearing a mix of armor and protector. I pretty much put on anything that will increase my INT (except for garms obviously) as I'm farming at the bandit stronghold and don't really need to move and I'm only using my imbue for the most part, so I don't need to worry much about MP savings.

Alright in that case I'd defiantly switch to all protector. Armor generally sucks because of now bonus's *speed and mp*. Plus your and nit heavy hybrid so protector would be good choice for you. That's what I use :)

The more I look at it, that is definitely a good suggestion. 40 ice has a pretty good jump in most of the buffs/passive (not as good as 60, but I'd rather have higher light). Just to clarify, the 1:5 build would have about 50 STR added in at cap and it looks like about 12,000 HP and 26,000 MP naked?

if ur going 1:5 hybrid, i'd rather at least 60 cold. 1:5 offers a decent amount of xtra hp but i don't think it's enuf for pvp without a good snow shield. For pve, it'll do fine but even a 1:5 hybrid will find it tough to survive in pvp without a good snow shield.
Wish the best for raphaell666
