HELP I CANT GET THE SRO LAUCHER!!!

Hey!
Almost everytime I Start Silkroad the laucher wont open.. I always get the same error: The server is undergoing inspection or updates. please connect to http://www.silkroadonline.net for more information.. But I'm the only one who is getting that error.. My friend can get the launcher every time and he can log in.. So I'm very sad about that... I did try to reinstall SRO severall times.. Sometimes is worked but then later is gives the error again now, please help

Try the following:

1. Go to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
2. Open the file "hosts" with notepad
3. Add the entry 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com (you should have a list with other entries. 127.0.0.1 localhost for example)
4. Save changes and try again

also unplug the modem and then plug it back in, refreshes network connection and allows me to get onto sro

You should be able to open it with notepad if you Right click it and select, "Open with"

The same thing happens to me!! I thought I was the only one because my friends could still play! At least it's not just me. Anyway, how can I fix this problem: http://www.maj.com/gallery/Kayson/Misc/untitled.jpg.

It won't even bring up the game launch window, like 'tutanchamon' said. After I get this message t'll bring the launch window up, but it's blank. No 'Start' button.

Also, the Silkroadonline website isn't working!

Thanks for the tip, I just tried that. It didn't work.
Anymore ideas? Please help me.

I got the same too (an empty silkroad launch window..) And ehm by the way.. I can;t get the open with button on the right click screen.

i cant open sro too.. the start never appears!! help me pls??

im using router... 5 comps.

when i direct the internet connection in a single pc. it works..

but i want to use all my pc .. with my friends so all of us.. can play.

please help.
