i didnt red all the freaking posts since it would have taken me about 2-3 years....but i only have one thing to say

Fire is over powered ?
ice is under powered ?

Joymax will balance it......

If they dont.....what kind of gaming company is it

They might, but most Korean companies take a fricken age and a half to balance anything, and then half as long again for those changes to be given to the English version.

Personally, I think bow should be int. You need to kill them before they get to you, or else what's the point in having range? You'll hit less than glavie or blade. Besides, ever thought of being int nuker? You'll get range as well, and you'll hit more.

Anyway, anything you need typed out, just send it to me if you can. I can type rather fast, at least one of the fastest in my class, but I only have a laptop, so I type only so fast. Still, I type faster than some of my friends with a desktop. So anything you need typed, add me on msn and send, and I'll type in my free time, then i'll send back.

even with full str u can one hit with a bow useing strongbow. thats the beauty of a str bow user. you can tank and have a mini nuke. :p

Grinding w/ bow is much easier and that I am using Ice, I shoot from a far distance + have grass walk flow so my grinding time is much less than a glavie/sword user. I'm not really going to argue, fire is good, but I'm personally ice. For me (in most pvp's) ice has owned me too many times, and fire really didnt do much. True you can use pills and such, but some people (aka me) need to save my money for upgrading a guild

. Also, burn status can also be healed by pills, but fire does more dmg. They both good, do what you want. But I must say, that fregging metoer skill on fire pwns all. End of story

The ice version (pretty much hailing down iciscles on people) is pretty effective too.

Okay, so let's presume the level cap gets bumped to 150. Let's also take at face value that Cold isn't effective at higher levels. Why then isn't fair to speculate that the game will get re-adjusted to make all builds more competitive?

If there's only two or three viable builds (primarily Fire based) six months from now, does it really make sense to assume the developers are just going to leave it at that?

That sounds an awful lot like a broken game to me. It just doesn't seem reasonable that a development team would spend so much time and effort adding content to an MMO that only a small handful of builds can aspire to participate in.

I'd be very careful about ushering players to follow what is essentially a "Flavor of the Month" cookie-cutter build guide. It's been my experience those are typically the first to get hit and hit hard by the almighty nerf bat.

u say handfull of builds, but in my guide, sword is used, blade is used, spear is used, glaive is used, and bow is used. fire and lighitng are both used.

force is for healers and no one is going to make it stronger or nurf it.

cold is not unballanced. it has the potential to work really well, but it lacks the usefullness of fire.

its not usefull to freeze a person then kill him, if you can use fire and kill him in half the speed.

and i really doubt that cold will become stronger. people would jusr use stronger pills and leveling would become too hard.

Are you familiar at all with the term "contradiction?" Either it works just as well, or it doesn't. "Potential" means absolutely nothing. And I'd really love to hear your definition of "unballanced."

I for one, agree on every aspect with Biggie. It's very difficult to get Cold users to understand. Biggie wouldn't lie about this stuff. He has a Lvl 57 (I think) and I think he would know if he saw many Cold users. I'm not saying Cold is bad either, I used to use it. Just my 2 cents.

Ok... I have already mentioned this before... Cold slows down the enemy, even if it's for one second, or less than that. What if you keep frosting the enemy before he gets to use his pill again? And you don't kill with fire in half the time/speed. Fire's attack power isn't double that of cold. Burn included, you don't do 2 times the damage.

Got it? Fire is if you wanna kill real quick, cold if you wanna slow them down. and what if a person is a glavie user? Will that shield skill apply? I doubt so. Cold works on glavie and spear better than on shield I admit.

well the problem with this is that people are giving up on them. has anyone ever seen a high lvl cold? no. so do we know what will happen? no.

i agree with strike though.. against glaive it would own.. spear only if theyre hybrid.. most full int spears are nukers. or lightning spear

im not disagreeing with biggie. i think everyone here has valid points.. just trying to "unnarrow" your perspectives.

I've seen videos of high level koreans using ice. There's quite a few pvp battles out there to download and watch. I see ice kicking just as much butt as anything else.. just differently. Each element has a slightly different playstyle to use to win. Fire is just the easiest. Spam attacks and hope they die first. As an ice bow user in 1 on 1 it's a simple matter of kiting the crap out of someone and making them waste pots while they can't do anything until they are out of pots. Then they are dead.

see people say that killing the npc thief is impossible.

to ballance cold and make it stronger, pills will need to be weakened. that would make that thief not almost impossible, but totaly impossible.

that is what i ment when i said leveling will be impossible. i did not mean it for the cold build but for every other build.

apperently you have not fought the white faced spiders. when you do, you will have a fit sicne they have got to be the most annoying mob ever to fight.

and yes, there are high level cold chars. i fought one yesterday from forever_cn. she was same level, same build but cold. guess what? the fight went on and cost us both more then 100k in pills, pots, and mp pots.

sounds good on her part right? wrong. she was wearing armor, i had garmet. yet we both were pure str blade. she should of been tanking me more yet my damage was higher then hers, and she could not get any decent damage on me to kill me.

was because the build sucks and isn't nearly as good as fire.

now you say you fought one the other day, and the fought lasted forever,
and cost a crapload in pills and pots for both. so does that mean that your
build sucks too? i mean, if it was as lopsided as you claim at higher
levels, you shouldn't have had much trouble at all..... or are you just
biased against cold for some other reason?

nope, she had an sos blade level 52, my blade is 56+1.

she is also in forever_cn. if anyone knows them you would know they are a large botting guild. they dont see it as wrong.

also, we used pots for the duel. a duel with no pots would of ended in no time with me as winner. i hit for 1200 on my last chain attack, hers was just over 800.

and the ice she was useing had no effect on me. one pill compleatly erased it, and did not slow me down one bit.

also, this is going to be my last post in this thread. it would take years to change the mind of every one of you. that is not my goal. my goal is to inform those you are sitting on the fence and get them on there way with a build that will work.

Yeah, what happened to all that freeze reduce jewelry and fire shield? Cold is nothing but a toy? Yet cold thieves are "almost impossible" and you blew through 100k while fighting a cold player? Something just isn't adding up here.

And if you guys hadn't been potting, you would have lost actually... cos you won't be pilling and you would have been hit lots more times, even if it's less damage.

For that fight biggie,

your blade would pretty much be the same since hers was 4 lvls different and yours was +1.

also, was her ice mastery up to date to her lvl? I mean, at that lvl itll be hard to keep it up to date..

And no caution, votes are not building up for fire, ICE is still pwning fire so far.

I have a question, what should i take when im going for flame/warrior
The weapon i mean by that, what is the best weapon to take with flame probaly not a 1 H since flame is to make sure you do pretty mutch damage, so it depends on the skills that the weapon has and the weapon himself, any advice?

I can see the good of either build, actually. Now I just have to choose one for my next character. I want to try a blader and a spear nuker in addition to my current character, but I don't know if I'll ever have the time to level up 3 characters.

One is taking long enough .
