Pure Str: bow, fire, force

Post by SUperLong »

Okay, so right now we're farming all whole new characters for 100 cap
i'm for sure going to be a bower but what should my other masteries should be?

here's the back up information:
pure str bow w/ 100 pach 100 fire 80 light and 20 ice needs about 1.2m SP
-that's for sure the build that i want if i go this way
there are other people in the party that are gonna be bladers and they need about 1.6m SP
so since we're not going to start leveling up w/out each other i'm gonna stay until they're done
so.. i'll have about 300k-ish sp extra that i'll be having

so.. this is making me feel a tad' bit cocky
i wanna go FOrce.
if i go force, i'll go 100 pach, 100 force, and 100 fire
if i don't like this build, i could just delevel the force and UP lighting and i still should have enough SP still to make the build i want.
my only pet peev is that i won't have speed
but i know this girl who'se an addict to this game and she'll always be on
and she's a bard, so i got that covered

so.. my question is how good is a pure str bow w/ force/fire?

oh, for the people saying that i won't have enough sp, i'm gonna just level up the passive, vital spot, and the circle for now and see if i like it
so i don't waste too much sp

force 100 gives you:
-> more mp
-> debuffs
-> ress for party members
-> harmony ring against party giants
-> cure therapy

on the other hand,

80 light ice gives
->a slight attack increase :roll:
-> mobility
-> snow shield

so its more of a 1 vs 1 pvp build.
why?
-> debuffs concentrated on 1 person
-> lack of mobility
-> relies on the debuffs for defence(less damage) since you lack snow shield.

it is a tad mediocre for grinding since it lacks mobility
and (like any fulll str bower)needs loads of arrows

BUT force is rendered useless by anyone with holy word,
which i am sad to say are most euros and most high parties in 8/8 pvp

so with holy word the only advantage you will have from force will be cure therapy, resssss
and a bit more mp.

I'm deffinetly agreeing with you on this.
After playing a friends warrior/warlock, I felt what its like when a whole party has holy word. Once they have a cleric, I was bumped down to a regular warrior, no warlock =[

but i am pretty sure the reflect skill of a warlock stays when you switch weapons :?
at least that advantage should still exist (i guess)

Advanced reflect still does. I still don't know why Joymax hates warlocks so much lol
