Starting Problem

Today I decided to reinstall sro just to fool around with it when I have some freetime. I downloaded it, but the start button wont load. I remember this being a problem a long time ago when I played, and I guess it just has not gone away.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Also, whats the most popular item right now that you can't buy with silk? Im thinking of just fooling around with selling stuff right now, and not actually leveling

well it could be the client, u would need to redownload it...
Maybe ur having probs to patch it, try leaving the client open for a while till it starts to update...

my advice would be:
1- try several times to open it till it starts updating, or wait till tomorrow and try again
2- if #1 doesnt work then redownload the client and start again...

Very simple to fix. Just keep opening and closing the game until it starts to patch. Dont open then instantly close obviously, but open, wait 10 seconds to see if it starts patching, close and repeat.

Go to the silkroad site then try. If you can't load the site hit refresh until you do

ya, i heard if you go to the silkroad website and log in and than minimize it, then it will update when you open the client. never tried it because i never had this problem, but its what i heard

I will try again later today, though I can say it did get me in once. We will see if the problem continues though.
