What race/class?

Hey, im playing WoW again after a month of quitting. My friend took my stuff on my hunter but I let him keep it because I did say i was quitting. Now I can't decide what class to play again so i'll give some input what I want to do.

I like ranged DPS, melee dps seems to be not my type
I like busting big damage
AoE is nice too
I want to be good at PvP
I don't like healing too much
I don't wanna get 1 shot by rogues(mages, priests)
High survivablity would be kewl

Whatever class you can suggest, please tell what race is good for this class too. Thanks<3

Seems like to me you're looking for Warlock, best fits your standards.

Doesn't Warlock have way less survivability against Rogues compared to Mages and Priest?

I suggest Balance Druid, it fits all of the categories.

Your basically looking for Highest DPS and Survability,thats kind of impossible

Unless you wanna go Death Knight(but thats Melee DPS)

EDIT: Juicy is right,Warlocks seems like the good class

I would go mage if you want higher survivability. The CC output on mages is better than on locks. You get blink, invisibility, and frost nova. I'm not sure about other lock CCs than fear, but they usually only get to cast that once before I kill them. Mages on the other hand are a complete pain for rogues to kill.

Frost mage definitely is the only that fits your desires.

Counter to rogues, has high burst damage through shatters, is ranged dps. Terrific AOE, rogue/mage and RMP are very strong arena comps.
Warlocks have poor survivability against rogues or any melee for that matter.

MMMM yea...I'm looking forward to doing arenas with my mage friend

freaking ridiculous burst + CC.
