aside from the legal benefits traditional marriage isn't something i feel we should go for...feels to much like breeder happy family white picket fence bullshit to me. It just seems like an unnecessary complication to add on top of things. I mean you're gonna have to do a wedding and say vows and stuff ~_~ i just can't picture it without it looking really really gay....this isn't to say that i don't think the federal gov't shouldn't recognize our unions cause i mean the fact that they don't is a nice slap in the face everyday.,,

same-sex marriage is legal in Massachussetts, Connecticut, Vermont, and Iowa. Many other states have same sex civil unions which grants most of the rights heterosexual couples have but homosexual couples do not.

i joke u not. i wish i was. when i was 12 year old i went through that self-denial stage but i later accepted myself for who i am. unlike many myths and propaganda out there, being gay IS NOT a choice. there's so many anti-gay myths out there that it's ridiculous.

when i told my parents at around age 16, my mom she said she already suspected it and was very supportive but my dad freaked out and threw me out the house. they both got into an argument and he got abusive and punched my mom in the face . anyways, she secretly gave me money to pay rent and helped pay my college tuition. i graduated a few years ago and got a good paying job and have repaid my mom all the money she gave me plus more because my mom and dad divorced last year. the reason was because they weren't happy with their marriage and he has an anger issue.

well, i havent had contact with my dad for a long time since then, but when i told him about my planned marriage a few days ago hoping time would heal him, apparently it didn't and he was bitter.... so oh well some people never change.

i considered myself very lucky tho since my mom was cool. there are many religious parents i know that threw there kids out the house and never look back. it's just very heartbreakening.

anyways didnt mean to write this long but that's my story.

some people have the opinion that blacks are inferior, jews rule the world, the holocaust never happened....i'd call all those people assholes for having those opinions. Your opinion isn't different from being agreeable as you nicely put, you called yourself a flat out bigot on the issue.
