So this is my first wallpaper ever. I've spent some time with it and Im pretty satisfied with the result. Id like to make it as good as possible so tell me what should I fix.
V1. In this version I was looking for old feeling so it would resemble something Leonardo da Vinci would have made.
Spoiler!
In these 2 versions I was aiming for little fancy looking effect. Which means C4D's and clipping masks .
V2
Spoiler!
V3
Spoiler!
V4
Spoiler!
These wallpapers are made for 1440x900 resolution so it would fit my laptop.

v1 is the best, it doesn't need fancy pentooling and effects around it. Nice thing you got there, though you could've added a lot more stocks, like I did to my tag. Also, sharpen the guy.
Looks great I like the simplicity of it, and I like the concept, I think the davinci thing is pretty cool. I think I like the wallpaper size better than your sig also.
I am a little OCD sometimes though, so I'm going to point this out but I don't think most people will notice it and it's not that big a deal. The lines at the bottom are not horizontal. The shading near the feet is a little heavy also. I also like the coloring from V1 the best, but the lighting from V2. V2 FTW though...
If you want it to look " Da vinci" I suggest you add more ruggedness to the over all piece. It's very clean and just not right for the theme you're going for. But keep in mind there's a difference between excellent texture and plain old low quality.
Also add more and more denser/richer black shadowing around his feet area to make him look more grounded. As he is now looks like he's levitating... anyways I know my comment is a little lean today I was just off to go crawl into bed since I was up all night. I'll add more later if needed.
Bleh. Typo's. -.-

Well imo huge effects doesn't really suit the Leonardo da Vinci theme.

Don't mind her dumbo. You have the right idea you just need more practice ( thought I do agree the piece is missing the umph ). A tag and a LP are worlds apart to be honest sometimes I don't even consider tagging and taggers artist, just hobbyist. The main thing you need to remember when working with larger art (digital) is that it's not about over loading your canvas with loads of fancy shit--it's about fluency. If it looks like someone just bluntly edited the picture with c4ds made by other people and squiggly pentool lines then what have you accomplished? Always try to make it as though everything on your canvas has always coexisted and that nothings been forced in.
P.S I see very little difference between V1 and V4, almost none. Could it be because I'm just tired. *shrug*

Thanks
And I know that the difference between V1 and 4 is small. But if you look at dark parts you can notice some changes.
