What level does it start, and if I have a level 55 or above on a server, can I make a DK on another server?

Starts at 55. Yes, you can make a DK on any server once you have at least one 55 char.

You can only make 1 DK per server.

Blizzard spent 5 years tuning the other 9 classes and fixing core mistakes there, so when they made DKs they knew exactly what not to do and what to do. For example the key weaknesses to warriors were kiting, susceptibility to cc (=crowd control) and warriors could drop very fast if focused hard. DKs counter all these problems perfectly. Their slow is ranged unlike hamstring, they have both ranged and melee silences, they have excellent anti cc spells and they are near impossible to burst down quickly.
DKs are/were (I heard they got nerfed 3.1, but don't play any more myself) extremely overtuned with counters for every weakness there could be. There is no real counter to a DK. It has a very high noob threshold allowing loads of mistakes.

Also, people really get a sense of their awesomeness during leveling. They are extremely overgeared when you level them. This was done so that people could level them fast and easily to play with people in time for level 80. It's also just a lot more cool if your 'hero' class actually plays like a damn hero.
The minute you start playing a DK you feel powered, which is what makes them so 'special'.

Nothing really, they are just the newest class so everybody wants to try them. Also, they dont need any downtime due to the fact they heal as they do damage plus have some nice self healing spells. Probably the fastest class to get to 80 with, from 55 ofc.

I was thinking maybe I would make one on a PVP server just because .......hey ZeroD/Remus maybe I will make one on your server and come be your bodyguard or the other way around LOL

Hmm, go for it, I am always up for people joining in on some PVP fun... I got bored with my dk after the 3.1 patch, so I am gonna go back to my hunter and lvl it up some more. Should be lvl 60 in time for you to make/lvl a dk to 60. ^______^
