theres no difference between reading a good book and reading a good comic book. If you can't see the artistic value or appreciate the art of storytelling then i guess its easy to just go "hur hur hur manga rofl" But theres a reason why if you go on japanese trains/buses you will find most men reading either newspapers or manga...theres no age limit to quality entertainment. The notion that comic books/manga are childish is a western idea that has been in the decline if Watchmen and 300 are proof of anything....they're just more visual form of storytelling...

Are you going to say Gantz, Elfen Lied and Bible Black are what 10 year olds read? Evangelion(yes the manga was made AFTER the anime), Code Geass, Death Note, Gundam?
