OMG! HURRY! LOOK!

Thought maybe that would get your attention. :P

I need to know if I should wear armor or garment for my character.

Pure Str / Fire / Bow

I have armor right now because I'm planning on being a tanking archer. I realized that I wouldn't have much MP though. What are your thoughts? :?

I'd say garment.
Since you will have high str you will already have a lot of physical defence. The speed boost and magic thingy of garment also helps. Plus the high level garment sets look much cooler than armor.

Strength brings defence? Anywho, I'll go with garment when I decide to get my embue. If I get garment, I won't need Lightning. :)

Comments are still appreciated.

I was always under the impression that str helped defend against physical attacks, and int helped against magical attacks.

I think since your pure Str then you dont really need the armor and garment works becuase it will help you get your mp back since you will prolly use that fast

where's the option for protector? i use it with my str char. garment is good
and all, but 95% of my time is spent PvE, not PvP, so i think physical damage
is a bit more important, since more enemies dish that out. plus, it's better
than armor because of the speed and MP bonuses. so, eh.....

you should use armor up til your mid 20s to low 30s, where all the mobs will mostly be phys attack based.

as you get in the higher levels, all of the mobs are more leaned to the magical attacks.

at that time, you should switch to garment.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

USE ARMOUR AT ONLY AT MID 20s TO 30s?????????????? YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CREATED AN ACCOUNT IN OASIS, EVEN THOUGH I FOCUS ON TROY, AND I'M WEARING GARMENT NOW! IT'S ONLY LVL 6!

Wearing garment, as you already know, gives you speed. That allows you to train faster, even though you need more pots. You travel from monster to monster faster. I started off in Troy wearing armour, and I'm afraid to switch to garment now because I might not have enough money to buy full garment, and I couldn't wear it, so basically it would be just a waste of money, so I used prot. Managed to get the full set.

Anyway, if you wanted to be an archer, you should have been int. Objective of archer is to kill before you're killed. Right now, you have a little range, but if it's close up, you just can't kill them, and they're probably gonna get real close up to hit you, and you can't hit them much.
