A warlock can cast 1-2 DoTs on one mob, cast more on another one, nuke the next one, the first one is about to die when it's attacking the third one, then it's already killing a fourth, it then uses AoE, and so on. Warlock/bard would grind WAY faster than a chinese nuker who'd have to stop to nuke each monster it faces. Not to mention the warlock gets berserk at a insane speed.

You clearly can see, if you read what I wrote, that I added it more like as an option, not an obligation or anything even close to that. Nevertheless, true, they don't need to use nukes, but most of them somewhat frequently use it, from what I've seen.

there is no best solo build it depends what you want the build for (in the end)

EVERY build is a solo build. unless there are some strange reasons... every1 should solo grind and be prepared to solo grind and tank a party mob or giant at least.

imo any wiz is not that great at solo, yea level fast and 1 hit but can die very easily unless you have great gear.

best for just grinding (always what looks the best, but excluding that as well)

I disagree with what is written in bold above. My wizard/cleric does very well soloing. Hell, just last night I took out the level 85 Unique that spawns in Cave B1 by myself... twice. It just took some caffeine, and lots of weapon switching: nuke, nuke some more, switch to Cleric rod, cast healing cycle and other buffs, switch back to my +5 staff, nuke some more... rinse and repeat. Wound up getting two level 85 chinese swords (although both were repair invalid.)

It kills faster than a full int nuker at equal level and same weapon.
Damage output is slightly lower than a full int nuker.
But because Bow skills execute faster, u always end up ksing nukers around you.
Guarantee a 1 hit to mobs your lvl to 2 lvls higher with a decent weapon. +6 would do.
Down side to it is arrows.

Usually not everyone has a +6 weapon for grinding >_>.
W/ a +6 spear a fire/light spear nuker can kill mobs ~5 mobs higher. W/ a +6 weapon rogues can kill mobs 10 levels higher. But yeah i guess that build is more fun than grinding w/ a nuker w/ only nukes or xbow rogue

Best solo in terms of what?
Fun? = Warlock/Cleric (can tank and kill plus debuffing bots is a nice break from grinding)

Speed? = Rogue/Cleric Rogue after level 40 or 50 can basically kill mobs 10 lvls above it with a +4 xbow. While some people say bard i disagree because if champ spawns on you and crits you might get squished while with cleric and healing usually lasts an extra hit. This is from my own experience. As well moving march is unnecessary as a good rogue in a good spot shouldnt have to move at all.

Next high speed one depending if there are other people...haha people... in the area would be warlock cleric. With zerk, dots, aoe dots, and aoe nukes, everything dies all you do is run around =)

I used to be a warlock/bard, I also used to be an S/S nuker. I would know. Basing an opinion off of videos is fail. It takes about 5-6 hits for the dots to kill the mob. Unless your ABOVE the mobs level, in that case, your getting shit exp anyways. In that time, you could've agro'd about 5-6 mobs, and be aoe'ing the **** out of them.

yea if u lure to many mobs on u or use aoe attacks on mobs that u can't "one shot"... just use crozen spear then fire bolt and it's all ok. works for me...

What? Anyways, 5-6 hits from the DoT doesn't mean you must stop and wait for it to kill, and you can also cast 2 DoTs on one mob, which would kill twice faster. You can go running around with the speed from the bard and killing the mobs, they probably wouldn't be able to reach you. You should know that if you've had a warlock/bard. I had a warlock/cleric and it's grinding was very fast, with berserk it was insane, and it was low level using weak weapon, I imagine how would it be with a strong weapon at a high level using AoE attacks.

I have to doubt your skill as a warlock.

On one mob you put 2 dots, which has no casting delay, then run to the next mob, do the same. You regain zerk in less than 1 minutes, activate zerk, then just run around at an insane speed and put 1 dot on mobs only.

Warlock is THE fastest solo grinder in sro. I play Vsro, and everytime there is a new server, there is a offcial race ( held by the game operator ) for the guy who reach level cap first. For the latest 4 races, the winner has always been lock/cleric. I have also seen screenshots in which a level 90 solo lock/cleric gains 7000 SP for 3 hours at mob 85/87. I highly doubt that a SS nuker could do that.

Warlock is the fastest Solo build out there.
Nothing beats it in terms of "lvling speed"
Mobs your lvl die in 1 DoT.
Again, thats when you have a decent weapon or when you are 0 gapping.
+5 would do.
DoT, move to next, DoT, move to next, DoT, move to next, Vampiric Touch when you are low on HP.
Giant? easy, DoT, DoT, move to next and back, DoT, DoT move to next and back until it dies.

I forgot to mention what I hate about the Warlock.
Its the fact that my pick up pet can't keep up with the kill leaving items behind sometimes.
Also, sometimes my pet got stuck behind obstacles after picking up an item.

i vote warlock because i played warlock to lvl 23 and i remember once i hit 20 oh man i was killing mobs left and right. used 2 dots for mobs to kill them fast and they were above my lvl and i had lvl 16 dark staff. then when i had about 3-4 attacking me at once shadow armor or what ever thats an attacking buff with absolute dmg. i ran out of mobs so fast i couldn't use zerk (even while i was picking up the gold and items by hand o.0)
