I don't think they have them anymore but they were cool because bots would attack them, we need something like that again! lol but unavoidable like they became hahahaha

Ahh I remember them, spawn one a DW south and watch the newbies die, I even got a high level to attack it once. 0_o

why are all the SRO distros different, like if they have a lv 100 cap in other games and have the Sohonseok at the same time why can't we, why do the distros have to be so different

if 1 person attacks it the thing would disappear (after it killed the player). so only 1 could die.. not 25

they'll remain in my memory forever, since a guildy saved a lvl 20-35 trade run by spawning one to kill a 60+thief.
they were fun
Joymax however, took the initiative to rid its hard working minions from a possible threat i suppose.

Ya I remember those..there was a short time frame in which you had to kill it before it explodes..it wasn't easy to kill and only a few high lvls could kill it before the time elapse..Thats why when noobs attack it they would surely die... What I loved about it was it didn't matter what level you where...if it explodes you will die. It was the perfect bot killer back in those days.

lol i remember attacking one of them at bandit den. no clue what it does back then. they don't work on bots though. :banghead:

I once tried spawning them in front of bots at flowers and they ignored it.

They used to work on bots. Then they thought they had outsmarted them, but if you were targeting a mob and then spawned it, it had the same name as the mob. And then bots overcame that issue as well but it was fun while it lasted

I don't think i was around when sohonseok was around, but theese boobytraps would be excellent against bots. Maybe some type of monsters, who randomly spawn , not gigant/party etc, but boobytrapped ones, that real players can distinguish, but bots will not. Or random events, like the ones in runescape.
