Which is the better force char?

Post by Gunitsoldier »

Hey guys,I want to make a new char which is not so slow in pve and is the best in pvp so which one should i choose..please help:

1st Option:
3:1 hybrid STR 100blade/100fire/100force

2nd Option:
3:0 full STR 100bow/100fire/100force

The #1 Build has more defense than the #2 Build and has blocking ratio,but the #2 Build has longer range,more HP,better phys balance,more critical,faster cast

The two builds are +/- the same tankers because one of them (#1) has more defense and has blocking ratio but the #2 has more HP and better phys balance;The two builds are making +/- the same dmg because the bow is making more dmg but the blader is hybrid.

So I'm on a crossroad...which build to choose???

I would choose full str for sure!
but it's all yours if u wanna go for bow or blade..
u wanna have smexy blade combos and great statuses + the ability to knockdown?
or u wanna have the ability to have great crits, great range, knockback everytime u want + a little chance to inflict stun?
it's ur choice.

Blade/force is a waste of a tree IMO, sure you got a higher chance of inflicting division/decay/weaken on a char/mob but you got that stuff on the chains too.

I played a pure str force bower and he just pwns.

(If you go for blade, go pure str. No need to waste hp since you'll do more than enough dmg with the debuffs as a pure str ;) )

Also, if u wanna have force as a mastery;
u'll have to get fire to 80 so u can still have ice 20 for the snowshield

yeah but i wanna use the fire for imbue and when it is 80 and when i have full str blader(if i choose this way) it will do very little dmg.I mean versus mobs because after all i dont wanna make it just pvp cause i cant stay at pwlvl till 100lvl,i gotta fight and it will be very hard and slow job if i choose full str blader with not max lvl imbue

and should i be 100weap/100force/80fire/20 ice only if i choose blader or should i make it this way even if i choose bow

I don't think that's really a good option. Sure, 20% snow shield does help a lot, but deleveling fire to 80 is too much cost for it, I think. You already have force debuffs that can make your enemy deal less damage (impotent). The drop in magical defense from 100 to 80 is somewhat huge (from 277 to 126).

The difference in imbue damage for a pure STR is not that much.

Chain gives Bleed, Impotent and Division, while force debuffs give Decay, Weaken, Impotent and Division. Bleed + decay + weaken + division will increase your damage by a damn lot. Also, it's not like chains frequently give statuses, it's not that frequent, while force debuffs most of the time work. Having debuffs from chains is not really a valid argument for not going with force. Force also offers healing skills, ressurecting skills, curing skills and others.

Yes. Either pure STR or slightly hybrid STR (~ 90% physical balance). I'd choose the 90% hybrid STR nevertheless.

So for your opinion what is the best force build?

Good force builds:
  • Pure STR or Heavy Hybrid STR:
    100heuksal/100fire/100force;
    100pacheon/100fire/100force;
    100bicheon/100fire/100force.
  • Pure INT or Heavy Hybrid INT:
    100cold/100lightning/100force.
These are the ones I can think of right now.

It's completely up to you and what you prefer, there's not a best one.

of course the magical defence will be less, but not much.
I think ppl will hit like 5% less at you? or maybe less?
with snow shield they'll hit like 20% less at you, for a limited time, but it can save ur ass a lot.

As I've stated you'll drop from 277 mag defense (100fire) to 126 mag denfese (80fire). For 20 mastery points that's a lot. 5%? I don't know, probably something near that. The thing is, this is not the only thing that you lose from not going with higher fire. You'll, as a pure STR, lose higher fire wall, slightly higher physical damage, 151 magical defense, and a slightly higher damage coming from the imbue. Well, 20% snow shield may be worth these, after thinking a little better. So yeah, that's another possibility, but then you must be a Pure STR. :)
