School Project, need gold

Post by Deadsolid »

Ive got a project im working on for the yearbook. I need to write "The Golden Year" in gold but I dont know a good html notation for gold. Does anyone have an idea? So far I've found:
#D4A017
#FDD017
#EAC117
but none of them really shine.
Any help is great, Thx.

You're gonna need a sort of metal/shining/glossy texture or else it wont really look gold.

Yea I spoke with my moderator and YB rep and they both confirmed that the only gold that I can have is the closest I can get with html. So unfortunately no textures or anything, but the other editor and I agreed on the design I used #FDD017 and 4 layers of overlay, I believe, so it looks pretty close to our school gold color. Thanks for the help.
