well currently my bard/cleric is lvl 48 FF , with 30k sp left
but since there are no pt's at herluces under lvl 60 i was planning to up recovery divsion and bless spell
but my friends really disagree with that idea ( they are lvl 80+ )
so what do you think ?
bard/cleric -> need help with cleric
Re: bard/cleric -> need help with cleric
Defiantly get bless spell and RD. Those are some of the best cleric skills out there.

Oh lol. I was gonna say
Their right, you need a few more cleric skills then those 2. Like Offering, HC, and the absolute attacks just to name a few.
I'll let someone with more cleric knowledge let you know if you need anything else

Re: bard/cleric -> need help with cleric
Offering, pure offering, Healing cycle, healing division, recovery division.
All the cleric buffs, unless you really want to go primarily bard, but a bard/cleric is such a great support build, I don't see any reason not to taken them. i.e. int/str buffs (blessing/deity), the phys/mag def buffs, innocent/integrity.
Resses: If you're jobbing it's nice to have more than one way to res someone, and group resses have a longer cooldown. Reverse Oblation, Immolation, Reverse, Grand Reverse, Group Reverse, Holy Group Reverse. Nice, but not required.
The light armor passives...if you're cleric sub, there's no reason you can't wear light armor, and it helps you while grinding. Robes are nice and you heal more, but not enough to be worth it in my opinion. The passives help enough. Down side: tougher to solo PvP vs. int's, but that's not a bard/cleric's job in the first place.
Over and glut healing. JMHO...as a cleric you can tank a party giant, although the justice/trial cross is powerful, sometimes it does LESS damage on things above your level, which make abs. dmg skills nice. You don't NEED these if you take the bard abs dmg skills, but they are nice.
If it comes down to it, there are very few skills I have not/did not take. Mostly:
-Heaven Flash/Glare, as I took the bard clamors.
-Didn't max group healing/group recovery, although I have both
-Didn't max healing or healing breath. Healing Division is much faster and doesn't require you to target someone who's in dire need of healing. Not to mention a group heal/recover does more good.
