spear int hybrid?

Hello, I've been thinking about a chineese nuker for quite a while now.
I just luv those smexy heuksal skills so I'm gonna be some kind of spear nuker.

So can u guys tell me the diffrences and advantages/disadvantages of theese kinds of hybrids.
and the one thats best at thieving ;D I've been thinking of theese 1:2 int, 1:5 int, 1:6 int,1:7 int and 1:8 int.

1:5 in my opinion is the best for thieving since you can take some damage, you arent so snow shield dependant and your nukes hit hard

My build will be 100heuksal/ice/lightning but should i max out snowshield or keep it at lower lvls ?

i guess if you want to be safe, like to prevent every wiz/rogue shot fro invisible being lethal,
i suggest you go with high snow shield.

Dont really need it higher than 40% for mobs though

you will have at least 26k mp at lvl 100 with 1:5
thats enough lol, unless someone crits you with 30k, but then you'll already be dead lol

Pan_Raider(`_´) is correct, I agree with what he said, and I say 1:5 is the most recommended one too.

ok But do I need the ice nuke or is it just a waste of SP since ive never acctually seen anyone use it in PvP/jobbing

I don't think you'll really need the shouts, as you'd have weapon skills to help grinding if your nukes doesn't kill them. Ice nuke is useful at grinding, but it won't be used at PvP. In my opinion it's worth the SP, but as it'll only help when grinding, it's up to you if you want it or not. I'm pretty sure you can do just well with only 1 nuke from lightning and weapon skills, though you might prefer to take lion shouts and/or the cold nuke. I think they are worth the SP, but you won't be really using them at PvP.

I think ill take the ice nuke, just cuz it looks so nice but ill skip the shouts cuz of the SP, ill be needing to farm a little more than 1m sp to be FF to 100. Yay

edit: by going 1:5 to lvl 100 would make me put a total of 49 str points right? or am I wrong here?
edit2: I've been thinking of going to ecsro cuz its 10x exp rate and only chinese
would this hybrid work there? if not would i need more str/int?
I think ill go with 70heuksal/70ice/70lightning/90fire or is 90heuksal/70ice/70fire/70lightning better?

It might be able to survive there, im not on ecsro so i don't really know. Just remember that light only has one strong nuke, so it'll be worth getting the ice nuke IMO. Shouts are quite useful for grinding, but if ur having sp problems than i guess u dont need them.

And i'd go for the 1st ecsro build, but heck, i have no idea

Approx. 50 points into STR, so yeah, you are correct.

You should have the weapon tree and the main force damage tree maxed. So, 90heuksal/90fire or 90heuksal/90light or maybe 90heuksal/90cold is a must, and about the rest, you can do whatever you want. If you want speed and extra magical attack put light, if you want physical defense go cold, if you want some magical defense and physical attack put fire.

yea 1:5 sounds like a good balanced build...also @ raphael666 can you help me figure out the ration on one of my chars? its like 62% phys 82% mag balance naked ... about 10k hp and 19k mp naked lvl 90 with gear its 15.6k hp and 24.3k mp

I say that that character has nearly 60 STR points. So it's hm, something between 1:3 or 1:4, but closer to 1:3 hybrid int I think. Are you using premium? I think you are, either premium or avatar or something that slightly increases your INT or STR... which premium is it so I can be more accurate?

nope...no prem or devil spirit... with devil spirit and prem my hp with sword and shield would be around 18-19k and mp like 28k also... i think i only added about 20 lvls of str if i can remember correctly

Weird, but that's right then. Nearly 20 levels of STR = nearly 60 points of STR, so you have something very close to it.

yea i do pretty good too..everyone would think hybrids suck but i love hybrids..also Raphael666 do you think I should wear prot on my bowman or garms? I have a +5 FB prot set on my hybrid nuker and a +5 FB garms on my bowman but do you think prot would be good for a bower?

Bowman= 100 Pacheon/ 100 Fire/ 80 Lightning/ 20 Ice
s/s Hybrid= 100 Fire/ 100 Bicheon/ 50 Lightning/ 50 ice.

This hybrid s/s is the one which we were talking about STR and INT above? If yes, then hmm it's a hard one to decide, I think you'd do better, as you have high fire and low cold, with protector. But still, garment is best in some points, and as you wear shield... In the end it's up to you, but I'm a little bit more leaned towards protector.

I assume the bowman is a pure STR? Probably the best one is garment. Protector would be also a good option, you'd do better against euro STR's but you'd probably have some trouble against INT's. If I recall it correctly Ragnorak (I think it's spelled like this) from this forum, uses a pure STR glaive with protector, and he said it's good enough. It's, again, up to you, but I'd choose garment.
