Yes! Me to, that looks amazingly functional and promising. I'm downloading her video as I type. ^^

wow, a female.
Pretty hard to see in this Male dominated area, kudos for her.
She is nervous, you can tell by her umms, uhhs, & ahhs.
OT: I would say it wouldn't be that successful for it is still in its beginning.
Very cool over all but, it is still not something we all can afford, and it is very much not rain proof neither lol

the idea is good, but it needs alot more work. first thing they should do is try to stabilize the image. make it lock-on to the product it's supposed to inform you about and follow it's position, a shaking screen like that is hella annoying. they should also consider turning it into a headset, I don't want no brain-implants
, and only needs to work upon voice activation.

Yeah, but aside from the things you mentioned. The possibilities are pretty much endless when you imagine it fully developed and fully incorporated in future societies. It could be used for law enforcement, or for creating totally new forms of creative art or pave the way for new forms of expression for artists. Perhaps it could be used for teaching or demonstrating complicated construction projects? It will instantly offer information about the subject or person you are researching or subjects you are interested in at that moment. That might raise some privacy issues but it's not that hard to implement protection against that I assume. Aside from those kinds of obvious intrusions, it should be endorsed fully and I have pretty high expectations of it, not unrealistic expectations, but serious expectations. But it's still in it's infancy though, who knows what might happen to it?

Great, a tech that will allow lazy people to not think, I would only buy one if they can incorporate it into glasses like in those scifi movies as they are more cool looking then a necklace.

The video was worth watching, I found the device interesting, It did seem like it was worth the 300$.
I was just wondering if a person could use this to cheat in their SAT's or something.

Well actually your using that technology to read my post. This product would eliminate the need to have numerous gadgets with you at once. I mean come on, who wouldn't want to draw a circle on your wrist just to see the time. This product has so much potential, hopefully it continues.

Here are some more:

MIT grad student David Merrill demos Siftables -- cookie-sized, computerized tiles you can stack and shuffle in your hands. These future-toys can do math, play music, and talk to their friends, too. Is this the next thing in hands-on learning?

Elizabeth Gilbert muses on the impossible things we expect from artists and geniuses -- and shares the radical idea that, instead of the rare person "being" a genius, all of us "have" a genius. It's a funny, personal and surprisingly moving talk.
