I think the purple lighting stuff draws too much attention away from the sprite.

The render doesn't really pop out much. Sharpen the render and blur the background a bit. Other than that, good work.

It's my focal in here. Sprites are renders ripped from some games, mostly those combat ones, like Samurai Showdown, Guilty Gear, etc. Or King of Fighters as in my case.

But people use them as focals in signature making, and can have a very interesting result.
