think i mentioned this in earlier post but didnt see it updated so i'll mention again

str bard using mana switch wont have mp problems in grind pt and they can cycle everyone (well same with int bard too) but helps str bard a bit more

also you know if the rave melody uses same number of hp to convert to mp, like a 1:1 ratio?

Yup, it's a 1:1 ratio. That skill is there for str bards.

LOL! Nice idea, too bad i dont think it's gonna work.

100 Cap in couple of hours.. No new skills except the upgraded ones. I was wishing for a skill named "scream" = pt noise. Joymax dont wanna give us that skill yet. zzz

yea, was kinda surprised tht scream didn't come out. Was looking forward to joining LTP's with bards in them lol.

I have another question , im 36 bard with cleric sub , not ff on cleric but has 36 masteries on both .
anyways i wonder .. cleric is for 100% pt , and on low lvls it's not easy to find a good party .
should i try to gian 360 hearts and reset my cleric and go on wiz ? how long will it take and how much gold will it burn ?
does it even worth it ?

its fine, at 40 you'll find parties faster, so just 4 morer lvls

The sp for the aoe ones isn't tht much, plus combustion works well against snow

Mana drought to kill chinese in Snow shield. Root is to bind ppl. It's worth it.

So this guide still applies since no new skills were gotten, or is it outdated? I want to use it for my new pure bard.

You simply have to level them until the new 100 cap. Most guides now have their skills up to 90, but what they say in it (like strategies or w/e) will very probably still be valid, the only thing outdated actually is the SP requirement, because of the skills that can be updated.

Yeah, it's a HUGE increase on required SP from 80cap to 100cap, but it's OK. The strategies, explanations and recommendations on this guide are too good to be ignored

Question, when you use temptation, can the mobs possibly kill each other? and do you get exp from the mobs that die?

i quess you are a bard master ... i have a question

. I am farming a character now and i really want to go bard/cleric :oops:

. If i am lvl 64 fufa i kill ong party with 1 hit ? or lvl 74 :-s ? pls help :* thx !

72 yes, depends on your equipment. @ 64, Sosun maybe. I had just a +3 harp @ 64 and couldn't one hit pt ongs.

No way lol, I've got a bard char, and it doesn't one shot ongs at lvl 76 with sos +5 harp (blues gear). First lvl to 1 shot them is 85.

Hm, I stand corrected then. I figured maybe with sosun it was doable at 72. I still can't one-shot them at 83 but I have lvl 79 skillz and a regular harp +3.

Im lvl 90 with my bard/cleric and have a lvl 90+3 harp and only since i got this new harp i could one hit a pt ong with normal attack

guardia, one thing i wouldn't mind seeing is a guide to stacking the magic/wizardry dances. I sort of know how to do it, but it would be good to have it in writing

I have another set of questions,

I am going to be starting vsro soon and I want to make a bard/something

its going to be mostly the same scenario as csro (basically me soloing) but I probably wont lag as much as i did on csro

I have a couple questions though. . .

so for bard as my primary which mobs should I solo? mobs at my level? a couple below? or above? which attack skills are good to use while soloing?

I was thinking of going bard/wizard, but I think I may go bard cleric mostly because it seems like it would be faster to level that way. . .which is the quickest to level, bard/cleric? or bard/wizard?

or would it be faster to just level as a wizard primary and just use wizz nukes? then farm it up later?

Can you kill giants with bards during soloing? if so, how?

if you can answer these questions that would make my day, thanks!

Too bad i cant answer ur question directly since u've already set ur mind into solo playing and i set mine in party play from low lvl. I never solo with bard, i only solo with my wiz when there's no party. If you really realy really cant party, take bard wiz. Solo as a wiz. Champs and giant is a no problem if you're not greedy. Learn to know ur limit, back off when u need to. Dont tank unless it's tank-able. It's better to hit hit hit, run and hit again than trying to tank it and die. Use single nukes as in firebolt and frozen spear. Wolf helps too. But make sure when u solo with wiz, put ur primary harp in pet. Only use low lvl harp to buff ur speed and noise since i've learn from mistakes. Died while soloing and dropped my 85+7 harp at 90 cap. The first +7 harp in SRO. So, take my advice regarding how to kill giants and ur harp safety. Good luck and have fun.

I think soloing as bard/warlock is a bit better than bard/wiz :S (unless you don't want to farm warlock)
but using warlock you can get zerk in 1-2 minutes, zerk in bard and 1 hit things faster
using warlock, you can tank giants your lvl as well

you might think wiz can kill faster but in long run with all the zerks, bard/warlock does about same/bit better
But you'll need a good harp/warlock rod though

if you don't want to sp farm anything, pure bard with only attacks, guard tambour you can 0 gap to high level then farm if there are parties then (but this way you level each level a bit slower due to well bard's just dont solo fight as fast... but you end up leveling faster because of less sp farming)
