I had this thought after an incident with a mildly annoying low level wizard going pink on many people at Samarkand south pvp area then running to the safe zone. I decided to teach him a lesson and didn't really care if I got murder status so when he came out of safe zone, still pink but very close to going white again, I cast Booming Wave. Dead wizard, no murder status

Booming Wave and pink characters
Booming Wave is not a targetted skill and does no damage to normal characters. Do you think, as a character changes from pink to white status, that Booming Wave wouldn't damage him, thus reducing the risk of going murder status? Or, if the character went white while the skill was being cast, would it still be killed and caster get murder status? Anyone have experience with this?

LOL, I like this idea, but it might be tough to determine as it's such a quick casting spell.
I would think if he went white while the spell was being cast, he'd still die and you shouldn't get murder status, but am not sure.
If faith is a crutch, I'm not limping anymore.

Re: Booming Wave and pink characters
I have been caught while attacking someone in pink a few times and got murderer. I was watching a pvp once and someone punched my freind, I did a dot on him, it went off once, he turned white it went off a second time and killed him. =.=' then I got ganked ><

That's either really bad luck, or bullshit. Or the DoT's are bugged. If someone gets attacked while pink they have to wait 20 secs without being attacked to turn white again so if he get's DoT dmg he can't turn white.

Props to chrisorg for the sig <3
