lol reminds me after i got rid of lock and was just a cleric and got like a 35 wiz master and was nuking at gens, as long as no buddy noticed how lame my damage was it was all cool

That's the beauty of having 2-3 wizards. There's so much dps going on no one can tell whose damage is whose.

Well it's only cuz all the others are in noob gear too. Try killing someone at 90 with npc gear/85 clean staff lol. Good luck : )

I really hate to say this, but from my experience (hand grinding and pvping on a wizard/cleric from 1 - 88), I have to agree that wizards are really only good 1 v 1 at lower levels where not everybody has good gear. Once you are at or near cap, you'd have to have FB gear and preferably prem + devil grade AND good tactics to win. Even then, there are many builds you won't easily beat, such as warriors, bladers, and warlocks.

Just try killing a smart FF FB blader with fire wall, snow shield, and puri pills... I did once and the fight lasted for over 5 minutes, then he got a few crits when I had vigor in cooldown and I lost. That was when I realized no matter how good I am at switching and healing, my wiz/cleric still wouldn't be that great at 1 v 1 pvp. That pissed me off a lot, because I've worked on that char since Euro came out.

Oh yeah and wizards are glass cannons, I would never make one personaly as there so easy to kill. S/S int and snow vs wiz and bless. S/S ints win every time well at least mine does lol.

I beat that fellow in PvP. I am 90, so he whined that my 89/90 legs/chest made a super huge difference. So I took off my legs/chest. And beat him again. Twice.
