xbox 360 question

so i was trying to watch a movie on my xbox but it said the conetnt wasnt supported or something like that and i needed to download an update from xbox live. but i dont have live so i was wondering if there was a way to download the stuff then add it to the xbox without using live?

I think you can update via live without having an account. But you should just create an account anyway. You get a month free gold membership and then after that it reverts to silver membership free of charge.

If the movie was burned, theres a possibility that the format is in PAL which North American Xboxes don't support.

He meant that he doesn't have no internet at all on his xbox.

Just rip the cable out of your pc for a while or something =p Or just don't burn dvd's haha cuz I never had probs with orginal dvd's on my xbox.

Oh, my bad. But yeah as XMoshe said, just plug your internet into your Xbox so it can update.
