Current television, their friends, their age, and their desire to fit in will be the bigger influences in any girls early life. Playing with dolls at their appropriate age is nothing to worry about, when they get older they will grow out of it. And even on the off chance of one person lingering longer in any stage, it can be blamed on poor parenting, or other forms of bad supervision.

They'd better look at the fact that people are getting children at way younger ages, Those young parents have no clue what to do in several cases, and not all of them are lucky enough to have granps backing up.
So when those children divert to the wrong path at some age, they need to blame something.

When I was about 8 years old I had a friend that played with barbies. She had a doll house and everyone time I came to her house all the barbies would be naked sitting on the coach together, or they would be the car or somethin. Always naked. Maybe that is why WV can't have barbies .
