[GUIDE]: Flys SRO Guide Fast leveling and the top 3 Builds.
Alright well, here's my character:
Cold Mastery 7 + Ice river force level 2
Force Mastery 5 + Self breathe heal level 1
I use a sword and shield combo, I like the block chance and defense for high aggro areas where I'll get mobbed. Haven't picked up a spear yet, but I gather I'd use one at later levels when I have a real nuke and can attack from a distance.
I am level 15, have about 1600 Skill points banked, which I wouldn't look forward to refarming on a new character.
Is there still hope for this character? I.e a chance at a skill reset, or not worrying about the points I've already spent since it's a relatively trivial number so far?
Also, could you give some advice maybe in terms of a build order and priority? As an int/sword user the only weapon skill I was interested in so far was the shield block increase skill. I haven't had any experience with a later character/build though so I'd like to have some input now prior to becoming level 40 and deciding to recreate.
Thanks!

I could possibly just do:
150 Mastery or 142 Mastery ~ Bicheon
100 Mastery or 92 Mastery ~ Fire
50 Mastery or 42 Mastery ~ Lightning
8 Mastery ~ Cold (Gay!
)
Would any of these allow me to still get all of the important skills? Man, wish I could get a reply!
EDIT: Also for being a pure STR, how do we get that much MP to max out the embues and such?
EDIT #2: I've decided to stick with Cold. We'll see what becomes of it. How do we max embues and stuff with insufficient MP..?

Biggie, ice is not as near bad as you are explaining it. Ice is prob one of the most effective PVP forces, even though it does less dmg. Even if they pill, they will be frozen or get frostbite again in a few hits, and they will need a LOT of pills. Plus bow users who use ice are really effective, in PvE, they die or have most of their health gone before they can do any damage. PvP is effective too, i've killed people 5 levels above me by freezing/nuking.

Caution. Don't worry.
Once you get to level 20, you can reset your skills. Like you can remove all of your cold masteries or whatever.
But be warned. It costs tons of money. TONS.
But don't worry about it now. Once you near the mastery cap, near the 300, you can start removing your skills.
No point in doing it now, because I bet you have 40/300 masteries right now. I bet less. You have plenty of time. and since your cold is only level 8, it's not a problem. You can delevel it later.
Just now focus on leveling up your blade and fire trees. Then everythign will be good.

There is already a thread for this; keep it there please.

yes at level 20 you can lower ur mastery.
and ryoko is right, keep the ice argument to the other thread. i would love to explain it more here but i want want to take up room here.
and FBIRem, you never go more then 20 in spear and sword. you need it to 20 to get all the usefull skills, but you dont need any mroe then that since you will be useing nukes only.

Okay then! Thanks for all of the help and I have reached a final decision. I'll take my cold masteries off at a higher level when I need to. From now to the end, I'll do Biggie's sweet Blade build.
I don't believe my question was answered though. By mastering my embue, not to mention all of the other fire stuff, how will I have enough MP to use them?
Oh! How much SP will I need farmed for your path Biggie? I currently have like 3500 SP. Planning on farming to Lvl 20 when I'll have around 5000 SP. Help?

Hey guys im new to the game and i was just browsing around the forums to see al lthe different build ideas when i came across this post. My personal preference would be to use bows, and i love the idea of doing mass damage, is a bow nuker possible? Like pure int bow fire? or pure int bow ice?
Some feedback on these would be appreciated,

Being a bastard works.
yo biggie, im following ur int build, since i like big damage, who cares bout hp anyway, lol
anyways, i max out all the spear i can with 20 mastery lv in it? and learn all lightning and fire except for the lightning imbue and fire wall thing?
Thx buddy

So, at 6 hours a day (the rate of a 'professional' grinder), we can achieve level 90 in just under three and a half years? What about the next 60 levels to 150?
Extrapolating from this guide...
90-100 will take 1,280 days.
100-110 will take 2,560 days.
110-120 will take 5,120 days.
120-130 will take 10,240 days.
130-140 will take 20,480 days.
140-150 will take 40,960 days.
Total = 81,909 days.
Dude, that's over two hundred and twenty-four YEARS!!!
I sure hope one of us sucks at math, or that someone in Korea is inventing a time machine.

PepsiShine; Level 3x = 9 or more days played
PepsiOne; Level 3x = 9 or more days played
FatWang; Level 4x = 29 or more days played
BiggieTymers; Level 56 = 69 or more days played
Fly; Level 57 = 69 or more days played
By your own accord, Biggie, this amounts a minimum of 185 days of playing (more than 6 months)... unless you're grinding multiple characters, simultaneously, which even with multiple computers/accounts still doesn't seem likely or possible.
No offense, but you're either botting/hacking, full of hot air, grossly miscalculated your estimated leveling rates, or have a hell of lot more free time than any reasonable person should.

true. i never leveled the fly account. i traded my level 56 biggie account for my level 57 fly account.
as for fatwang, that was the dubble exp week and i was bored.
also, i grind for more then 6 hours. i dont go to school, and i work off my computer, so i have alot of time to grind while working.
yup thats the idea :p
your right. for a str char they should use garmet or protector. a int char should ALWAYS use armor for pvp, and for grinding garmet is still the best because it allowes for a fast run.
why would you be a int bow? if you go int you will be able to use nukes, which will be better thn your bow skills, so why would you then continue to use weaker bow skills instead of geting stronger nukes?
if u go int, u might as well be a nuker. if ur a nuker, u might as well use a spear or sword. if u use those, u might as well fire nuke and lighting nuke.
ect..
you use mp pots.
how meny mp pots you use does not depend on ur mp. a low mp guy will use as meny pots an a high mp guy.
and for your sp, if you like farming, keep at it, if u hate it, i would not do it. its all up to you.

Well I have a Lvl 2 Fire Embue and a Lvl 1 Ice Embue (going to be removed). When you start to notice a damage difference? The skills say:
Ice 14-19 100% Lvl 1
Fire 19-32 100% Lvl 2
I attacked a mob with both of those skills and the fire skill came out 1 or 2 damage higher.

You still haven't addressed the time issue, Biggie.
According to your guide, it would take 320 days (at 6 hours per day) to go from level 70 to 80. To get from level 80 to 90, it would take twice as long; an additional 640 days. That's a grand total of 960 days, or 5,760 hours.
Even if you were to play 24 hours a day, seven days a week, that amounts to 240 days... almost two-thirds a year. And that's merely for 20 levels.
And you're proposing the game's level cap will be increased to 150? Do you have any projection/estimation of how much time that would take??
No offense, but I seriously question your credibility. Frankly, I think you're pulling these numbers out of your butt. But if there's any merit to them at all - even if the leveling rate remained constant from levels 90 to 150 - you're talking about an astronomical amount of time.

Exactly. That's why I'm not too worried about having more than two masteries. No-one who plays without bots will ever reach lvl 150.
The estimate is only a rough guide. When level caps are increased, so are monster types, and as a result (in most cases) xp gain is made much easier at high levels. It was the same in Lineage 2 for example, although the level cap there didn't increase, when a new patch came out they introduced lots of high level monsters which gave much better xp/hour than what we had before - although they required a full 9 person party to take on most efficiently. No doubt there are plans for Guild quests and things like that in a similar fasion.

Koreans share acounts to level them 24/7, to calculate how long it takes to hit 90, figure out when the korean servers went up, and how long it took the first person to hit 90. Chances are they shared the acount (so multiply that time by 3-4 and you'll get an aproximate time it takes to hit 90 playing 6 hours a day). These numbers aren't very surprising for a korean game. Lineage 1 it took couple years to hit lvl 52(you get much stronger from 52 on) and there wasn't even a level cap in that game.
As caps get raised, new hunting areas and weapons are added, so leveling happens 'faster' than pre-cap.

Xenogrant wrote:These numbers aren't very surprising for a korean game.
Yes, I appreciate that (I used to play Lineage II), but there's a big difference between taking a couple of years to get from lvl 1 to 52 and a couple of years to get from lvl 51 to 52.
All I'm saying is Biggie's estimations are just that... estimations. It's pure speculation, theory-craft if you will. And for goodness sakes, I hope he's way, way, waaaaay off the mark. 3,840 hours to get from lvl 80 to 90 is just nuts.
the numbers that i have going from 1-60 is the time it took me to grind from 1-60.
the numbers after that are estimates. but as soon as the cap goes up, i will time myself, and change the numbers.
at my level im hiting ishades with normal attack for 350. with fire imbune i hit for 430 and fire does 100 damage on its own every 2 or 3 seconds.

Rawr! I think I'm going to make a new character regardless.
Str / Fire / Light / Bow / Armor / 10000 SP Goal / Your Build
This will be a tank with high damage and high HP. MP could come to be a problem, but I'll work this issue out. Biggie, I need some support.

tried them all.
personaly, the int dies too fast, some ppl love the damage, i dont like the low hp. glaive is good but can not tank as well as i would like, same for bow. bow is a favoreit but i like to get up close and kill people.
my favorit is blade/fire with lighting for run.
go to SUM magazine. it has downloadable charts with info on every skill and its stats at every level. its really helpfull.
