Its not an empire, its a country. Someday its going to lose money and power but its not going to become multiple nations lmao. At least not anytime within the next 200 years.

They called it a union for a reason. The united states. There was a time when states could still secede and run themselves as a separate "nation". It's how the first civil war started. These days it would be unheard of though, since I'm pretty sure they amended that part of the constitution. But IIRC a coalition of nations probably does qualify as an empire. I've also heard of the US being called Imperial America by tinfoil hat-wearing conspiracy theorists. The difference is we have a government that represents the people as a whole along side the states themselves.

I do not laugh at Paranin. I consider his theory to be bullshit. Russia, China, Mexico and the EU dividing the states sounds rather far-fetched if you ask me. I recon he pulled that date, June 2010, out of his arse, too. Paranin being an expert doesn't make him an infallible prophet. Besides quite a few other experts dismiss his "prophecy" as nonsense.
But like I said, if I'm proven wrong in june 2010 I'll be first to admit that Paranin isn't an old fool. I'll even make a "Paranin is a prophet" sig if his prediction proves to be right.
