so far on our forum we have listened to the community for updates on events etc. Does Ocean do that? no...
We are active all the time on msn answering questions. Does Ocean do that? no...
I could go on if you wanted me to but you get the idea.
Did Ocean got their server up? Yes...
Thats the only "idea" I got to be honest... Always look at yourself before speaking about the others
Sorry, I would really love to have a private server whith europe and such, but you guys could post on the site (btw, is it off or you moved it?) even small things like: "we managed to fix YYY, but we're still trying to find how to implement ZZZ with out bugging XXX"
Strwarrior wrote:Stop saying the same shit about "servers up" . he just posted the topic to let u know about the server, and get more members in the team. thats all.
Eckoro was making an happy list of all of bad things ecsro made, I was just giving my opinion.
From what I read on some forum their main coder left the team and took all the work with him. So I don't think that there will be anything of this server...
jMerliN left and has input his work into SREmu. We now have many more experienced coders and have been developing with cSRO and its going well, search on youtube you will find this.
none of them should be hard at all. we have got all the mob spawn co-ords found them in the PK2, dunno why they are there... but we have figured out how that works
about time u laid out some proper proof of ur server. I wish you best of luck on this project, its looking pretty good. The use of csro files is even better
If this server ever goes up, make it so that Silkroad actually has an objective. Here's my 2 cents:
-Exp rates and SP rates should be high, somewhere around 15x would be good to reduce amount of botters.
-Gold rate should be very low, so that people do trading as a primary means of earning money, not grinding. The game is called "Silkroad" afterall. Back when I was playing SRO a long time ago, the funnest part of the game was trading. Now it just seems like when you hit cap, you do pointless cape fighting.
-Drop rate, SOX rate (if it can be adjusted), and alchemy rate should also be low so that armor/weapon prices stay high and thus require trading to buy equipment.

we are going to increase the prices of money earned from trading.
We hope to release some more videos soon, atm I personally have been working on a new site, with a cleaner simpler layout, more of my own designs and a new login system

Quit telling us what you're going to do, and do it! No point telling stuff which there's a possibility of never happening. Videos, new site. Don't you have something better to do?

Why are you going into details when u dont even have a stable server. Imo stop wasting ur own time with accessories and get the basic shit working. Maybe if esro was more focused on these things it woulda been done already
so far its only been me working on the website... no one else in the team. I also have been collecting packets and OPcodes.
We will soon add mobs and there respawning, every single mob.. in the game world, as we have obtained all there spawns, and locations. We found this in a .txt in the PK2
there are many lines of this, some are same ID. Some there is only 1 ID which means its NPC. We have a good knowledge on the map system. But you may see that this is a mangyang id.. and cord should be around 6000. but the spawning does not work with the in game x,z,y cords. I cant really go into this in detail as I do not personally know it to well and it will take a while to explain.
With adding mobs and NPC, its then possible to add shops, items, drops, skills and attack. These are all whats needed for beta. The beta is purely just us to see how stable it is and what needs improving and for the users to report bugs.
