Well, thanks for all the replies, only some of which were useful. I guess I'll just be myself and see how it goes, if she's not into me well then that's that.

Better to just be yourself...if she doesn't respond then move to someone new...never change yourself for anyone.
Sounds asif someone got dumped real harsh.
He tells the truth though. Any "real" high school relationship will end as soon as they go off to college the following fall. Very very very rarely does that "love" ever actually mean something.
My mum married her high school sweetheart, she told me the story all but a few months back. They went out since 16 and went on to get married. In the end he was in a tragic accident, he ran his motorbike into a truck and was killed instantly. Years later she remarried and bam!, i was born.
Don't be so dam pessimistic.

Notice the bold? Being realistic doesn't necessarily mean being pessimistic. We don't live in the froo-froo candyland fairy magical world where everyone is happy. Take a look around.

But was your post really needed? Here's a bloke looking for love, yet your pretty much crushing all of his dreams. Why not be optimistic and instil some hope into his life?

So you want to set him up for a possible let down? Sounds great. If you've read my posts, I've given him sound advice. The same advice many others have given him. Be yourself. If a girl doesn't like you for who you are as a person, she doesn't deserve you. Also, don't go looking for love, it will find you. I hate shows like The Bachelor. They're trying to force people to fall in love. Let it happen on it's own time.

Slowly roll up behind her with your car, and then when she sees it's you and drops her guard.. Slam on the Horn hard. Girls dig that.

no such thing millions of ones its all up to the person being able to deal with things out of the sake of being together. just because you have things in common it doesnt mean your ment to be together.... misconception. its pretty much boiled down to communication and appreciating differences dealing with Bullshit. btw i hate the ONE i MET the one and they annoyed me lol
i rather have someone who understands me but has a different point of view someone who does good in something i cant or dont do as well. that way you come together and its a good couple if one fails the other one shines in that aspect.
but thats my opinion i know half of you dont read books so dont expect much feedback lately its been predictable responds from you people or copy paste from another site. rather ppl afraid of saying what they want to say or just have nothing to say which is sad on either front.
If the concept of us being all one consciousness's and us being one thing that lives endless through the cycle of nature the only clear emotion would be understanding .

I just believe there is someone out there for everyone, you might not meet them. But that special person is out there, they might be just around the corner or they could be a million miles away.

6 billion people in the world, he's right about the millions of ones. And yeah, as it turns out, I hate the one I met because she turned out to be a cheating, lying whore.
And yes, I agree, I want someone who can do something I can't do. Who makes up for my strengths and weaknesses.

That's my point. There's know way to know just by meeting someone that you've met "the one." It takes a relationship and time together to figure that out.
