How Much Have U Spent on SRO so Far?

If you have spent over $300 on this game I think the best option for you is to sit down and re-evaluate your life. It will only take a few minutes.

I haven't spent any, but if someone has spent $300 bucks on a game they have played for multiple years, that isn't too bad at all. Entertainment isn't cheap.

I guarantee I spend more on beer per year than I have on any game ever, and I don't drink that often. Maybe 1 time every 2 weeks? Think about it. If you smoke, drink, buy candy bars at the gas station, whatever. Little things add up, but well....ah I don't remember where I was going with that.

Basically, wasting money is based on perception and value. Some people buy $1 million dollar cars. I think that is a waste. I just want a Prius. They don't think it is a waste though...or something like that.

People spend thousands of dollars on a tv, then money every month to subscribe to channels, and you're telling me 300$ on a game is bad? You need to re-evaluate that logic of yours..

totally i spent around 1900$ for playing sro since my start in dezember '06.
that are around 50$ per month. i think its a good price for an all time entertainment I like this game, and if you want to be a good player you need all those silk items. But im earning Money, so 50$ a month is so less to think of it.

A friend of mine is a smoker. he destroyes 1 pack of cigarettes each day. So thats around 5$ a day for some unhealthy entertainment. Each month he needs around 150$ to reach his goal and die young.

I hate all the discussion of spending Silk, or how much. There are ppl out there earning money for a job. Why arent they allowed to spend a little bit into an hobby?

Another friend of mine has a really good job, and he usually buys around 2k silk every month. And its ok, because he works hard for his money, and should decide what to do with it!

But I don't see why people pay for a game like this.
It isn't worth all that money I think.
Maybe a monkey for holidays isn't too bad, but Premium+ for several monhts...
I think the game is cool but all this money for this game, nothing for me.

Around 5k pounds. I pay more for silk now than a year ago though. 100 silk used to be 5 pounds but with this credit crunch shit It's now more like 8 pound.

I don't feel so bad anymore now that I'm seeing so many big spending on SRO besides myself. Better that this game cost me a thousand dollars or more rather than it costing me a girlfriend/GPA at university/Real life friends/A job (or career) etc. I'm sure there are a few players out there that paid more than just cash for this game. That's where I draw the line.
